I guess I just saw Napoleon Dynamite after the hype, but I found it quite uneven and aimless, with mostly cringe comedy behind it. Watching it, I recall being confused about whether I was supposed to laugh at or with Napoleon.

Your acronym game: Failure.

I'm so glad Nabin reviewed this. I saw it randomly and I completely agree - a gem. I've never watched more than five minutes of BBT but this actress is very talented. Shame the movie didn't get a better fate.

Nathans Going Their Own Way?

Um, it totally is. Have you seen both? This is actually good rather than weird quirky.

So far beyond that it becomes awesome.

Yes - it's disquieting. There's some infinite conflict where everything is pitched as a struggle between libtards and themselves. I've never rooted for the return of the Spanish Flu before, but…

What a shame. Such a brilliant and distinctive director. As inventive and quirky as Soderbergh without as many messy projects. And I'll say Rachel Getting Married is the best portrait of depression I've ever seen.

This also caught my attention. The dialogue in the scene was HILARIOUS and so well done, but that was just a weird break from reality.

Different mothers, huh? So, racially their dad was pretty cool.

I agree - and we should shame those who abet tyrants. It's funny that Beyonce is celebrated for her transgressions, but she danced for Gaddafi. I love lady Bey, but that was some bullshit. I want more Pussy Riot stuff everywhere. But that don't pay the bills.

Depends on the character of the oppressor. Yes, in 1960s USA, peaceful resistance might work. But let me ask you this - could peaceful resistance have ended slavery? What if there was no North, just a pure Southern slave state? I think that goes as long as it can.

Maybe. But there's a lot of imagery foreshadowing his paralysis - I think somehow Mike or Gus cause it.

Who would be coming for him? The police? Do they even know he was at the compound? Criminals? I thought everyone else is dead now. Saul, I get - his name is on everything and he has serious criminal liability. Jesse seems like a different case - the fact that he confessed and tried to bring Walt in would have to

Nope. I didn't say those things. I want peace for Israel. And though I'm a pacifist in my life, I know that's untenable for a body public (why Gandhi isn't that helpful for the average person or movement). So, of course Israel will defend itself. And, yes, I know the lengths the IDF goes to to avoid casualties.

Indeed. It's almost like Europe shouldn't have toyed with the lives and well-being of millions for their games.

I certainly approve of that (ending ghettoes and pogroms, and of the Jewish people having a homeland). I just strongly believe Europe could have helped avoid this calamity. Given their guilt in creating (or not mitigating) the Holocaust, pogroms, and myriad oppression, it might have been nice.

I think you might mean contributory fault (I think that's the one that defines a possible bar to recovery based on the fault of plaintiffs), but I always get those mixed up so maybe I'm wrong.

Oh, I mainly meant how Europe had the vast majority of Jewish people and then systematically tried to murder them (or, more helpfully, refused to rescue them), then set them up for an inevitable conflict with Palestinians. That's what I meant.

I've had the opposite experience. Selection bias, maybe?
