Right now we are free to write our imaginary sequel to that disappointing finale. So, yeah, why not? Said that I still say that I would have also liked to see something more on my screen

In my fantasy Cary was a great lawyer and should have gone to an illustrious law career.
Nobody won. It hurts me too. It's not like Cary got a decent send-off anyway.
Well, at least this time wasn't Cary. And Diane would have had it coming. Alicia srewed over Will. She screwed over Cary. And how she also screwed over her. Full Circle.
"Ironically, he’s really the only character who seems to have found
closure in the series finale."
Maybe it's because, after 7ys of screwing over, writers couldn't come up with a new way to screw him over. Or maybe it's because everyone else just deserved what they got.
Yeah, it's just a TV show. But it has been really good in the past so maybe it's not so easy to let it go.
Lucca was introduced to play Alicia's sidekick and to replace Cary, Kalinda, Diane…all characters who were never just sidekick but had their storyarcs, their background, their motivations and their feelings. Lucca was there when Alicia needed help in the bond court. She was there when Alicia needed love advices. She…
"It's really too bad that this season hasn't addressed the lingering impact (PTSD?) of that ordeal on Carey, because it would have helped explain his deeper motivations for opting out of the legal profession - instead, they made his exit about being fed up with back-stabbing office politics."
I can't accept me too. I really think the character deserved some win in the end. In the personal or in the professional field, I don't care. But like that it's not just that he was kicked out by that firm. He was kicked out by show. And the fact that he's getting the short end of the stick (like he alwasy did) just…
I think the point is that the Kings don't know how to end the show in a more meaningful way and with a worthy payoff when it comes to all the characters, storyline and relationships they created. So they're choosing the easy way. The feminst spot and the "full circle" concept: they're ending it where it started, with…
What really bothered me is that Alicia didn't decided to talk to Cary about their friendship or to make up for what happened between them, but just to call him up on his testimony. On the other hand it looks like Diane never knew him, showing absolutely no interest in him as person. They've destroyed 2 core…
I stopped to read other reviewes long time ago…but I think several critics weren't happy about that season for the reasons you've pointed out. But the show is ending and now it seems that even criticism doesn't matter anymore. Damage is done and nothing can be done to reverse everything went wrong that season. So I…
I doubt we'll see anything worth the character's storyarc in his last 2 minutes screntime. But one can only hope.
Yeah. Indeed! I think it was pretty clear she wasn't tanking him (and why she should do it??) and he was just calling her on it (isn't he even allowed to say the truth now or just to proctet himself from Peter's defense team attemps to find a scapegoat?). But apparently nothing in that show is pretty clear anymore.
The only reason Cary was involved in the Peter's thing is that they thought that was the best way to keep him in even if they have basically written him out 3 episodes before. But it's not like they put some effort in making that subplot meaningful for the character or the actor of course.
Yeah, I remember that's why I don't get why Diane suddenly wanted to buy him out because "he's not Will Gardner" (not giving a damn about him after doing so) and Alicia was willing to side with her just to give Lucca a privileged spot in the firm.
Cary's motivations are pretty clear to me. I don't get your point here. He's there to say what he knows about the case and still Diane and Lucca are trying to suggest that he's there to hurt Peter and Alicia. What's unclear to you? And what reconciliation you're talking about? Cary and Alicia have been in good terms…
Are we going to do this? The comment was about what we saw on our screen and about the disappointing writing for this show (and by the way I share that disappointment). There was no speculation about what happened between those two women in real life but just facts and opinions about what writers did. Whatever…
Actually Matt Czuchry did mention Kalinda on the red carpet before the panel. http://llttleblrd.tumblr.co…
Cary is a problem because he's not on the "Florrick" side anymore, especially after Alicia decided to stay "neutral" when it comes to decisions doomed to screw him over. And don't forget how Peter handled Cary's arrest and did absolutely nothing to help him to not compromise himself. So no matter what he really knows…
