Gumbercules — I made blackberry gin fizzes the other night after my wife requested a summery drink. it was simple and really good

I have to go with All. I had every one of their colored albums when I was in my late teens/early 20s, Allroy's Revenge (I think) being my favorite. "She's My Ex" was a song I knew at the time I would come to feel very differently about when my HS girlfriend broke up with me, which she did, and then the song was there

ALL!

whoa AVClub, what is this booshit?

But it looks good on you, though!

Her?

I feel like an idiot, but I looked on iTunes to try to stream this and couldn't find it. where did you guys find it?

these three are the ones that stuck with me:

Garden State was a great mix tape. As a movie it was gutless and twee.

I'm with you on this one. Maybe it's that I've been listening to "Waiting For A Superman"/"Suddenly Everything Has Changed" a lot lately, probably one of the best 1-2 punches in any rock that I can think of, but I really want some, you know, songs. I don't hear any on The Terror so far, but I will keep giving it a try.

I totally agree that Swamplandia was overrated. It was absolute shit, in fact. This book had me thinking at pg 100, oh no, this Bird Man, this isn't where this seems to be going, right? and then it plods on for 100 absolutely boring pages to the thing I was sure she wouldn't have happen. He rapes her. Then, Ava

I loved this show and still think about it quite often. The Depression/Dust Bowl era (srsly, those fuckers were so DIRTY all the time) is such a great setting for good v evil. And the way it ended was a total fuck-all to the viewers. I need to know what happens to Sofie.

THESE ARE THE BOMB

I would start with In Persuasion Nation. Three stories in there, Brad Carrigan, American; In Persuasion Nation and Jon are some of the best short stories I have ever read. Jon, especially, is amazingly cutting and moving.

"Bart, do you want to act like a maniac or play John WIlkes Booth?"
"I'll be good, I'll be good."

"Bart, do you want to act like a maniac or play John WIlkes Booth?"
"I'll be good, I'll be good."

"Bart, do you want to act like a maniac or play John Wilkes Booth?"
"I'll be good, I'll be good."

"Bart, do you want to act like a maniac or play John Wilkes Booth?"
"I'll be good, I'll be good."
