I thought it was a great little movie and while I won't/can't reveal the storyline because, unlike so many 'action' films, I thought it was a well thought out approach to making an actual film as opposed to an action sequence enabler like many superhero films are.
There are millions of comics in the world and a lot of

I preferred #2. You really got the sense that he was in on the joke. Both #3, and to a lesser extent #4, were too tight for the role. But then, that's what happens when you work with pigs.

You know what? There is NO Easter Bunny! Over there, that's just a guy in a suit!

I saw them in Sydney late last year… or was it early this year… I can't remember. They were fucking awesome. I digress.

@avclub-b5e54b8379a1cec1ea981e47bfb5ada1:disqus It does sound like you played with a shit group. It's hard to find a good group. It's such a weird thing, too. I've played for 20+ years and about 4 years back moved away from my group, who were friends. I haven't found another face-to-face group since. I've gone to a

I went to a GenCon - I had a great time. But I had a great time because it was a really interesting way to supplement my own gaming. I spent time on the merch floor looking through things most non-gamers would ignore, I played a few of the rpg-story game things. I tried out a few different games I'd always been

That makes more sense… I was subtly calling Mike's gaming cred to be revoked if he'd actually decided to space things by going with 1. Traveller; 2. Introductory roleplay style games. 3. D&D.

I agree - it's intimidating, but really more so than sitting at a table with a) a DM who doesn't know his players and therefore their strenghts or motivations; or b) 6 or 7 other humans, and that's often the best description for at least 3 of them, who generally have enough range to fit every uber-gamer profile (power

I'm glad someone noticed my completely failed firstie. Obviously my reaction adjustment wasn't high enough … either that or the other two rolled higher on init.

Todd, I disagree with the direction that Mike has steered you in. I don't know Mike at all, and I'm not trying to be too critical, but I question both why you'd be sent to a convention to start, and then some of the choices.

Did you start at first level? That's pretty tough for a lich.

Sure.
Brian Vaughn's Y: The Last Man is very good, with set of about 10 trades in an all-compassing series.

The end of "A Farewell to Arms" still chokes me up to this day.

I ran into these guys in a sushi train in Tokyo. They were nice.

I found this game to be terribly disappointing and, interestingly, for many of the same reasons the review seems to think the game was good.

Try Gaiman's Sandman series. They shouldn't be too hard to find and they're a great read.

Comics are dumb you guys are NERDS!!!1!
