You're the one who keeps coming back with nothing. Admit you were wrong about me being wrong. Your first post was just as much trolling as anything I've said, only without the benefit of being right about anything. You've contributed -nothing- here, and your stubborn refusal to acknowledge that you were wrong *in

I think "don't indulge Eli Roth" is a pretty fair principle, pretty much for that reason.

I suggest you stay away from My Strange Addiction.

I could play Doom just fine, but Wolfenstein 3D made me dizzy in about 2 minutes. I'm pretty sure it was because Doom had head bob and Wolfenstein didn't; I have a similar thing with amusement park rides where if it spins AND goes up and down I'm fine, but if it only spins OR moves up and down I get a little green.

I recognize all of those words, but damned if I can make any sense of the sentences that they're in.

Agreed. It doesn't seem very professional, although it appears that the underlying issue may be other people's inability/refusal to remain professional in their interactions with him. I think there's a level of frustration there that's unique to comedians; for all the unwanted attention other celebrities do have to

I guess it's not exclusively homosexual, but predominantly so I'm sure. There's more of a need to identify who's where when both/all parties are bringing the same gear to the game, I guess? Anywhoooo . . . I think some of us straight dudes might have some use for the term from time to time, so—we cool with borrowing

Seriously, who looked at that and thought, "Man I need that stomach in my stomach"?

Yeah, there are definitely points of overlap between standup and acting skillsets, but they're not so many that it's an easy crossover and while there are several notable examples of success in the endeavor, there are as many or more notable examples of failure.
Now I'm wondering if the problem is getting thrown

I see you still have nothing meaningful to say. And you calling someone else a smug troll takes the goddamn cake. Trump's America, I guess.

Burr's latest special didn't seem especially "written."

Well then what's the point if you're already in love with Kate McKinnon?

"it obviously could have been greatly improved by tightening up the editing, script, and story"
You could say this about any random movie and have about an 85% chance of being right.

Yeah, very few comics have been able to mine "so I'm pretty rich and famous now" for sharp comedy material.

I think you could slightly re-phrase the first sentence as "Amy Schumer is a comedian that many people like but an actress that many people do not."

"Schumer still makes for an awkward lead, as her comedic shtick (she’s
cast here as—surprise—a whiny, shallow, cocktail-sucking New Yorker)
doesn’t translate into acting chops."
Well, now I guess I don't have to post (but here I am doing it anyway). I'm reminded of the Mitch Hedberg joke about Hollywood wanting him to

Actually, he said "he's the wealthiest man to ever make his own coffee," which sounds like another Trump lie-brag. He probably just has a Keurig in the Oval Office, and I bet when it's his turn to re-stock the K-cups he brings the two Green Mountain French Vanilla cups that nobody likes anyway from the sampler pack.

I posted it in response to James DeRiven. "Bode" refers to an implication of future effect (if you'd actually look it up you'd see it associated with terms like "omen" and "portent"); JDR made the (common) mistake of using it as a reference to a present state.

The second and third paragraphs are really making me want to see this, in spite of Charlie Hunnam.

Ah, the Ramsay Bolton research method.
