I love this, "“Christopher Pike shoved into designer heels.”

I wept at the "Spring 2014" at the end. that's like, A YEAR FROM NOW.
I once rolled my eyes at the thought of a conspiracy cabal involving Mellie, Cyrus, Olivia, and Hollis. Now I learn that the head of a super secret CIA organization is Olivia’s father and pre-order popcorn for Fall 2013. this exactly. it's gone from mildly amusing soapiness to can't-miss-tv for me.
@avclub-01855f0cb9a656fa40d4b59ae484a8ae:disqus classic Penny! what a mess of a human woman.
seriously, what the buck.
I desperately wish Happy Endings had the kind of organized fanbase of Community. I know the fans are out there! everyone I know loves the show. it just doesn't seem like there's a clear way to channel that toward the cable networks. I'm trying to Kerkovitch-way USA via twitter, but shockingly, I don't think they are…
She was like Penny play-acting at being Jane. man, I'd totally watch that episode of Happy Endings. oh, wait. *sobs quietly in a corner while eating waffles and pancakes*
such a wasted opportunity
yes! omg her face with the sugared jello and then the floppy bite of toast was priceless. she's created such a character with Helena.
yes! that was brillant.
I actually really loved the Dave/Penny baby plot. The two rarely have full plots together and I think they play off of each other well.
@avclub-4cfbc51c4d39c53146a0064ca373ddef:disqus I want to say he seems less like he's trying to control her, or rather he's trying to control her in a less selfish way? but I recognize that sounds pretty terrible too. I think Kerry Washington just must have chemistry with everyone.
It means to be a fan of a certain relationship.
I genuinely don't understand shipping them. like yes, they are super hot together but holy disfunction, verging on emotional abuse. then again, I'm weirdly into Olivia and Jake, which has got to be just as fucked up. so, glass houses, I suppose.
I completely agree with this. It's indisputable that Kerry and Tony have ridiculous chemistry, but my god their characters are just terrible together. Fitz is a whiny controlling ass and Olivia gets so passive. which is probably why I enjoyed her yelling at him. finally.
In fact, if you think of his role here as Theo Tonin living incognito, the pilot gets immensely better.
wow, you're right. this makes the show infinitely better.
I already miss Ryan and everyone's favorite topic: Ryan's body.
so you're saying you want Dave and Alex to die in a fire? after which Penny saves Dave's ashes and they live happily ever after?
yess. that was my favorite movie until an age that's embarrassingly into the teen years.
