A-

I'd include The Odyssey too though.

When friends have asked, I've recommended watching the first two episodes and then watching with a very heavy hand on the fast forward button until about episode 8. Then, either just watch the rest of the season or, if you are in a hurry to catch up, watch 8 and 9, and then with a light hand on the fast forward button

well stated. I retract my statement. considering this is the second episode in the first eight to be sans Laurel, I suspect Katie Cassidy has to be slightly concerned over how little her absence has been noted.

As much as I was happy to be Laurel-free, it did seem bizarre to be that she wasn't at the party, considering how close she's always been to the family. Although I guess given her role in the trial, it makes sense..

Yeah, I genuinely couldn't figure out if/or the extent of his supposed jealousy. I saw a couple articles ahead of time that claimed this episode would clear up whether Oliver was jealous of Felicity/Barry, and his feelings toward Felicity, but I didn't think it was all that clear. He did seem somewhat bothered by it,

Which is why Diggle remains my favorite character on this show. David Ramsey's delivery of his one liners is consistently perfect. Even when he doesn't have lines, his facial expressions in the background are always right on.

Seriously, re: Felicity. I may be partial to Felicity and Oliver but the girl could probably manage to have chemistry with Laurel at this rate.

I do hope they give her more to do outside of those Felicity/Oliver moments. General spoilers have me optimistic that they will be fleshing her out a bit, and not just having her pine away.

It was 8:52 the first time I realized Laurel was missing from this episode. Offered without further comment.

I think Thea has drastically improved as a character this season, and I like her quite a bit now. I look forward to what they have planned for her down the way, and I think her scenes with Moira were great. But overall, I'm just not as invested in Moira's plot, for various reasons.

I loved everything this episode chose to be and I hope we get to keep Sin and Sara Lance FOREVER.

I liked this episode quite a bit. I agree that the Laurel stuff still isn't working, but was glad that at least they resolved her vendetta, rather than dragging it out for half a season.

hands down the best one-episode villain Arrow has done yet. I was legitimately uncomfortable every time he was onscreen. It was a darker style for Arrow, but I thought it worked really well.

I thought this was a pretty terrible episode, since the plot boiled down to Caleb rides a bus and the liars walk around a house.

this episode gets an A for the number of people on my twitter feed asking "who is playing this Nadia woman? I like her. what else is she in?" everything. she's tatiana, bitches.

AV Club gods, don't you hear that?? can't you do anything about it? this was my first review to get the new version and after trying to navigate it today, it will probably be the last I comment on.

Unfortunately, I think that's an unshakeable "Welcome to being a leading lady on the CW" issue, more than anything else. I do hope they walk that line carefully because it was a bit jarring. Again, I thought they did better last week and elsewhere in the episode with keeping her wardrobe upgraded, but in character, so

HATE the new comment section. does anyone know if there is a way to opt out?

yeah, wasn't there some article last week that Arrow is one of the most watched shows in Canada? which someone seems unsurprising.
