Not sure that's true; I don't think Walt's completely gone.  I think he still loves his family.

How about the shot from inside the electrical box?  That's a new one.

If it couldn't pull objects off the shelves (or hell, why not the shelves themselves, a nice rhyme), then it wouldn't erase the hard drive.  You need something more than a fridge magnet for that.

The latter.

Not necessarily.  Walt hasn't exactly been a "present" husband in this series.  I could see him skipping town on his birthday if things got hairy enough.  That doesn't mean that he and Skyler have parted ways.

Sort of agree.  I think there just isn't enough of Walt & Jesse to fill 45 minutes.  So there have to be subplots.  However, you can rest assured that Hank's story will connect with Walt again.

Just got the DVD and watched S4E1 last night.

"He and Mike are seriously starting to challenge Walt and Jesse as the reason to watch this show."

He certainly smiled when Gus picked up the boxcutter.  He smiled a big, uncharacteristic grin, thinking Walt/Jesse were going to get it.

"Really, even though the tension on this show is generally
well-executed, it's often diminished a bit for me because I know Walt
and Jesse aren't really going to get killed."
