I swear that in the book -Hannibal-, Starling (post brain-eating) is presented with the unearthed bones of her father (by Dr. Lecter, and she's been drugged for days), to have some sort of epiphany/closure/transference. Perhaps Hannibal does this type of thing with his proteges on the regular?

A friend at ComicCon showed me a pic of the actor all clean-shaven, and surprisingly, he's not as compelling when bathed and groomed.

According to twitter—it looks like Hannibal got renewed! Another 13 eps!

Yea, I just watched the itunes version, and I have to agree—the Case of the Week was barely in there. It's like it was the filler among the (kinda awesome) characterization stuff. Perplexing.

Someone on TWoP thinks that even the "full" ep got further editing. Says that he/she saw some stills from 1.04 that had a dog w a human arm in its mouth, and that's not in the ep. Could be why it looks messy?

It's at Bergdorf's too FWIW.  Still, pretty darn unique and special (apparently the reps won't even share any of the fragrance notes/sources).  I hadn't heard of it before the ep—to be honest—and I regularly read scent blogs and collect interesting perfumes. Guess I wouldn't impress Hannibal Lecter (good news/bad

I was so frustrated that I couldn't catch what the name of the perfume was, but then I saw your comment.  Turns out that there is a perfume by JAR called "Bolt of Lightning," described as: "more a rich, green, hair-raisingly sharp smell that made me think of bamboo."
