I think it's my favorite as well.

From the moment they wake up at the end of Inception everything indicates that they're really awake until the camera cuts off. Nolan made pulled a hack move by trying to create an ambiguous ending where none existed. And, yeah, the movie wasn't confusing nor are most of his movies. I'd say Memento is another

I've really liked them all. In the blockbusters he consistently impressed with his approaches to showing/revealing characters and events. Neither movie was surprising its plot, but he managed to present them in original and unexpected ways.

All these interior shots with soft lights and especially the lanterns makes me wish they could get Soderbergh as DP for the show - at least for the scenes with Chuck. Breaking Bad excels at using the exterior - the big skies over Albuquerque. Soderbergh's work on The Knick is some of the most impressive "interior"

I have a friend who has three kids, all K names. He's Black.

I have a friend who named her son Zane.

Interesting. Found this in an article about the case, "While there was no problem with the name Allah,…states must maintain a mechanism to reject bizarre or vile naming requests that would subject a child to ridicule, offering as (real) examples from around the world: Snappy Fishsuit; Acne Fountain; Sex Fruit; Loser;

My BIL name both his kids (a boy and a girl) after his dead dad. I thought it was overkill.

That's my SIL's middle name; her sister's middle name is also Lord of the Rings related too. Had she been a boy, her dad wanted Aragorn (for the first name). She got lucky.

I think that fight with all the Merovingian's guys is the best in the trilogy. I really liked how each movie employed "different" approaches to action scenes; they didn't just repeat the same beats that impressed in the first movie. I think there's about 2 seconds of bullet time in the second movie.

I realize this is 4 months later, but I didn't see anything referencing sperm and eggs or descendents. The people exiting were the crew, weren't they? Didn't see any museum either. Maybe they changed something for the dvd release?

Ah, I hadn't seen any of that twitter stuff. In the few interviews I've heard he's been pretty self-deprecating. I imagine it's tough to live in his dad's shadow, but his place is pretty secure. There's no point in arguing with critics.

Is he thin-skinned? I didn't realize that.

I like Joe Buck. I realize I'm the only one.

I thought it was at first. Once I realized it wasn't, I couldn't remember who that guy actually was.

My great great grandmother would always say that she was glad she got to see us because she didn't know how much longer she would be alive. That probably lasted for 10 years until she finally died at 101 (and a half).

Same for me. I didn't know it was inspired by those events, but once I picked up on all the similarities I figured it wasn't a coincidence. Given that it's a comedy I though the owl outcome would be the answer. Crazy (and maybe a little disturbing) how they turned that real-life event into a really funny show.

Lots of terrible people have good friends. One of the nicest girls I know is friends with a guy who was fired for harassing his coworkers. Some of my friends wouldn't hold up to close scrutiny.

Okay. I see what you're saying.
