Bixler-Zavala and Rodríguez-López just can't stop working together as part of different bands - At The Drive-In, The Mars Volta, Antemasque. I expect they'll be on to group #4 shortly.

"It is set to be directed by Michael Dougherty, the Krampus alum who stepped in for Gareth Edwards…"

I have no memory of the scene being referred to. I know there was a girl in a TV and a well and Naomi Watts may have also been in one or both of those places. I do remember liking the movie, though.

I liked that they didn't repeat themselves as far as the action/fight scenes were concerned (in Reloaded too).

Edit 2 and 3 into one movie and it would've been great. I still think the 2nd one is actually superior to the first, even though it was impossible to top the jaw-dropping, never-seen-anything-like-it of the original. Unfortunately, 3 got stretched to twice as long as it should have been. I've heard this was the result

Full name Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, which means "quick to the plunder, swift to the spoil." It's long been my favorite Biblical name.

And by having both groups on the boats choose not to blow up the boats, Batman has already seen that the people have hope and won't be ruled by their fears or corruption or whatever. The only reason for Batman to take the blame was to set up the next movie.

I'd agree. This was long a "conservative" idea. It's kind of funny seeing this approach seemingly embraced from the other side now.

I think the second one was good and would've been really good if they'd cut all the stuff on the island with cannibals. It really dragged down the start of the movie and didn't really make a difference to the crux of the movie. The third one, however, was a mess.

Ugh. Goodnight Moon is a terrible book.

I thought the same thing. Maybe dude just has a sense of humor. Even people you don't like can be funny and appreciate good satire.

I thought the credits were oddly melancholy for such a silly show. Also, I initially thought they did a terrible job of depicting the brunette in the lab, but it turns out the blond woman in the credits was the assistant. Apparently Jennie Pierson isn't listed in the credits. Maybe that means she's not long for the

Between this and the Spicer Dippin' Dots beef, these Trump appointees are making me laugh.

Honestly, I can never remember which is which. They're like Ed and Larry from The West Wing.

"…it’s hard not to see the “it’s too hard to make fun of real life” attitude as a predictably safe extension of the “both sides are just as bad” approach that South Park has had for years."

Cinderella isn't one of the most beloved Disney films? That's surprising to me.

I think it's like 80% of a great movie.

After seeing Donnie Darko I remember thinking that it needed a little more "explanation" to make it great. The director's cut proved me wrong.

Oh, okay. I haven't watched that show.

I agree. Dowd mentions a certain line that mitigates the didacticism; I found it to be quite the opposite. Although I liked the movie I think it would've been improved had it been less heavy-handed. The repeated signs of debt relief and such and homes for sale and the rancher's line would've been more effective if
