I think Kevin was always a bit of a jerk as well as selfish. I kind of like that about the character. It seems realistic for someone his age to be selfish or self-centered.

I actually think the second Matrix is a better movie. However, the sheer spectacle and jaw-dropping visuals of the first couldn't be topped. I really think that if 2 & 3 had been trimmed into one movie (really just lose the first hour of 3) it would've be considered great.
Based on the first picture, I was afraid the blonde lady was Greta Gerwig. Still, I don't know who McKinnon or Jones are. Are they funny or something?
I saw Volume 2 in the theater and fell asleep. I think I liked Volume 1 (I guess I did enough to see 2), but I honestly can't remember much of either movie at this point.
Leslie and Ron was obviously the better episode, but William Henry Harrison was pretty hilarious (I think the Wire joke was my favorite). If these two episodes are any indication, this will be a great final season.
I missed this, but it sounds more interesting than Colbert, whose schtick I thought got old pretty fast. Plus, Wilmore created the Bernie Mac Show so he's got a lot of good will built up in my book.
I still think if you don't know it's a comedy, Hot Fuzz works great as a straight action film. It's not an outright ridiculous spoof. It mimics action movies so closely, only pushing it a little past extremes. Still, I agree that most would expect comedy with Simon Pegg, which would make an actual straight action role…
Agreed. Fienberg has always struck me as a bit full of himself. This incident has done nothing to dissuade me of that notion.
65? That's just ridiculous.
That's kind of how I feel about the Dean.
I took my (future) wife to see In the Bedroom. After it was over I asked her what she thought and she said, "It made me feel empty inside."
The Wolf of Wall Street is a pretty good example of this.
I liked him in Warrior. I also thought he was good in Wish You Were Here and Animal Kingdom.
"which was allowed to collapse as soon as its purpose had been served."
Agreed. Aside from the premature cut to black, I see no good argument for it not being reality. Nolan didn't build the confusion into the movie, but rather (lazily) tacked it on to the end. I found it hacky.
I had the same complaint about the sound when I saw The Dark Knight in (fake) IMAX and that was in 2008. I guess I'm ahead of my time.
This list is weak. Billy Heywood and Jimmy Dugan were excellent managers and far from clueless. Same goes for Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez. There's no way they would've beat those rich kids without his hard-nosed approach and commitment to practice.
I liked it a lot as well. My favorite element is that the folks who wrote it actually seemed to understand baseball. Also, a Bill Heywood should not be on this list; he was a great manager.
Oh man, I found that one to be really disappointing. It just felt like a waste of time - nothing really learned.
