Agreed. Thought this was the funniest episode so far. Had me really cracking up.

Agree. I like that Little Big League takes baseball seriously and seemingly gets a lot of the details right. It's a baseball movie more than just a kid's wish-fulfillment movie. Take the scene where the pitching coach asks Billy what he'd do in a certain situation and Billy corrects his analysis b/c it would take the

"Every moment of HOT FUZZ is simultaneously mocking and celebrating big budget action movies."

Sounds about right. I read the Season 5 Wire reviews and the writer said from the get-go that episodes will get an A unless the show just falls apart. It kinda did, but the A's remained. He said his goal was to illuminate the show's greatness; hard to do much criticism when your goal is to praise.

Wish they'd offed Angela instead of an inconsequential intern. Although having them call him "Mr. Nigel-Murray" all the time was really annoying. So I guess we are spared that moving forward…

In the Bedroom Returns
The reviewer's earlier comparison to In the Bedroom is perhaps apt again.

Agreed. Thought I was the only one who thought that about Kidman.

In the Bedroom
Good call on the In the Bedroom comparison. I happen to agree that Wilkinson's performance was more impressive than Spacek's (not a small feat). I think it's one of the best (and probably my favorite) of the last decade.

Sorkin killed it. Unfortunately it was the only part of the episode I actually enjoyed. Arnett's character was tired a long time ago.

Abzurd?
Dictionary.com says it is an acceptable pronunciation, but I've never in my life heard it pronounced that way. Thanks Noel Murray for opening my ears to new ways of sounding pretentious. haha
