I also like going back and watching the Top 5 girls from season 5. That's the best one IMHO.

I also liked how he didn't do it in the actual number. Thank god, one gropy number was enough.

Definitely true. You don't see many krumpers in Chandler, AZ. I definitely think it's a competitive advantage sort of thing, but if you do it well why not? In the past it was more common for the dancers to focus on one genre entirely. Now many of these dancers have been prepping for this show for a decade! They're

I LOVE this idea. That is all

Finally watched it! So my first thoughts are about the show in general:
1) As has been said a myriad of times: WTF on the eliminations at the head of the show? I liked that last year a dancer could sway the judges with their performance that night. However, I would say that this choice makes the eliminated dancers far

They're trying a new thing this year where you can watch 2 days after air if your provider isn't DirecTV or Comcast.  But these are legal avenues, I'm shocked that our friends in Canada haven't uploaded any illegal options either!

What the hell! Is FOX on some kind of vendetta ensuring that last night's episode isn't posted absolutely anywhere????  I'd be fine to watch it through them, but even they have not posted it!  I can't find any uploads either.  Anyone else find it?

Can we pause for a minute to celebrate the height of the men this year?! As a taller female dancer this fills me with happiness. I counted at least 3 or 4 guys that were as tall or taller then Cat in her heels.  Yay!

Felt the same, but suspected that the choreography may have leaned that way due to Jasmine's abilities? Did you think her hands were weird?

I'm not as sold on Jasmine H.  I really really loved her audition, but on these last two eps at least something about her movement seems off to me.  I think it's her hands? Right now she's reminding me of season 1 Melody who relied on her amazing extension far too much. The difference now is that several of Jasmine's

I'm jumping up and down and squeeing like a little girl reading your first paragraph because I'm right there with you.  I'm not one for hyperbole, but really that is the best group number ever to be performed on this show!  Oliver is right in pointing out the show hasn't been able to creatively use the stage space

@JoanRoseman:disqus  To be fair Wade Robson does more Fosse inspired movement than Tasty has ever done.

I'll always love the Annie Lennox number with Allison and Ivan all the way from S2.  That and the Lion King group number he did for S3

Olive snook: That happened to me too. Next week, enable the pop-up for the website.  They want you to share how you voted on FB, but you can decline. Once you click through the pop-up then your votes are submitted.

From my admittedly cursory recollection, I'd say that this season doesn't really differ from past seasons on this point. Season 1 featured at least 4 people of color off the top of my head in the top 10 and I think they continued that trend.  I definitely think it's something that's at the forefront of the producers'

What city did this "Ribbon Boy" audition?  I think I missed it…

Wow Wayne as Lil' C is winning. I vote that he appears in the regular season.

I tend to agree with your assessment and get annoyed when people watch SYTYCD and come away thinking b-boying and popping are the same.  However, dancers almost always incorporate many of these forms into their individual style.  "Animation" seems to spreading like wildfire these days if these auditions are anything

I definitely love the show now, but had many of the same reservations at the start.  I got my toes wet by watching a few group numbers on youtube.
One of my favorites: http://www.youtube.com/watc…

She auditioned in Austin, but I think I caught her in the montage filler!  She had one of the most memorable auditions last year.
