Weeds Coverage
I think you should resume coverage.

"My main thing is I don't think it's because my character has such bad luck with men," "I hope that people can understand that. Because I know people, of course, are just going to go to the 'Oh, they're just doing that, because she had that relationship and all of a sudden she's gay.' No, no, no, it's not that. It's

I hate that they made Calvin a backwoods meth dealing bigot. In my opinion, he was one of the more decent guys in the books-not a bland do-gooder type, but one who recognized the probs in his community, both internal (in-breeding, werepanther fertility decline, members not being able to look completely human) and

Turning Tara into an anti-sup zealot makes sense, but based on season 3- they might be saving that arc for Arlene, BOOK SPOILER
In the books she goes as far as hiring two guys to kill Sookie.

About Andy
Andy wasn't addicted to V, but at the end of last season, he considered taking it. He was in the (sheriff?) office looking at the cast on his arm while he was holding a vial of V. He was about to take it when Jason walked in.

Ballad is my favorite episode of the series.

Book 3/4 SPOILERS
In books 3/4 you find out through Cersei's POV that the reason she was attracted to Lancel was that he was "trying to be Jaime." Later she regrets that decision, since he turns into a holy roller and almost declares his love for her in front of everyone at her father's funeral. He also states that

Adding to the pile,Jaime's doubt as to whether or not Tyrion on the loose is a good thing, while standing watch at Tywin's vigil.

Fake LookingWorks…Sometimes
I'm trying to remember a good example. Thought of the Life Aquatic, but that was stop motion. I do agree that CGI is best used as an enhancement, rather than having the whole film ride on those effects.

Robb also isn't a psychopath.

Sansa didn't become remotely tolerable to me until book 4.

Oh.

Alabama as well, I think.

@Humbledore
It think the fact that the Westeros fold haven't been taken with demon sacrifices is cynicism. Ex. Both Jaime and Tyrion never seemed particularly religious to me, and Tywin was more a realpolitik type. Joffrey had Ned excuted at the Sept and Cersei only used religion as much as she could to manipulate

Cat's Ill Prepared Daughter
I've read through bk 4, and I was struck by how savvy Catelyn was in the first book. Although she didn't actively contest the status quo (her husband as head of the family, her male children first in line for Winterfell), she knew how to work things in her favor. For one she was able to

For the record
I actually liked Transamerica.
