It's definitely cock smoke.

I dig Uncanny Avengers - or at least I think the idea of Red Skull with Professor X's brain is pretty cool. I think the production delays have affected the excitement though. If they got this first arc out more quickly I think I wouldn't feel so disappointed.
In my opinion, Wonder Woman is the best book DC has put out since All-Star Superman. The world Azzarello & Chiang are building is pretty incredible.
1. Saga
2. Locke & Key
3. Mind Mgmt
4. Wonder Woman
5. Conan the Barbarian
This record sounds great but the lyrics are terrible - infantile and essentially meaningless. Luckily, as a stoner metal fan, this doesn't bother me at all.
I guess so. But I love metal and I've never really listened to Kreator. Gleaning that one recommendation from this article is worthwhile to me.
Neither would surprise me. I'm just saying, that has the look of an ideal J.R. "irrational confidence" game. Hitting ludicrous runners in the lane and taking 28-footers. Would be fun to watch.
I'm really hoping the streak makes it to that Knicks game. I feel like J.R. could drop 40 in that game, if properly motivated.
I think the backlash against Record Store Day being "commercialized" is crazy too. Oh, record companies want to sell you their music by offering rare and novel products? That kind of seems like the whole fucking point.
There are several things that are satisfying about vinyl, for me:
Yes! The best way. Certain publishers have their own apps (Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, etc.) but Comixology is the biggest and easiest to use. You can also find all the physical shops in your neighborhood on their site, most of which will offer a discount to customers that set up a pull-list through Comixology. It's…
Rob Liefeld laughs at you, friend.
Yeah, most of the best UT songs are Farrar songs. I think Tweedy really came into his own on "Anodyne" though.
They have a compilation album: http://www.amazon.com/Retro…
It seems like a lot of the backlash is a reaction to the reviews. I was listening to Leave Home earlier this week and New Moon for the last couple days. It's the same band, they just have a dude that plays banjo sometimes now.
So, they add banjo and piano to a few songs and now they're sell-outs? It's still sloppy, fuzzy, and recorded live, it's just that now there's a few more melodies poking through. It's called growth motherfuckers, get off the train if you don't like it.
I don't know, I'm excited to see what Lemire could do with a one-shot book. Given the chance to tell weird family stories with Buddy Baker over the next year, I think he could do some amazing stuff.
I finished the first arc but found Dial H incomprehensibly dense. I'm sure it would be a more engaging read as a trade - Mieville has too many ideas for this one-issue-a-month format.
Smack dab in the middle of "Going Clear," Lawrence Wright's scientology book. And geez, is that L. Ron Hubbard a total dick.
We got ourselves another Walter Motherfucking Benjamin over here.
