"women of color"
i got into r.e.m. around 'new adventures'. knowing mostly they were from "Get a Life" & some artistic angel video, i really grew to live alongside that LP. then i dove further backward into the discography as new stuff came out. i'm always fascinated by other fans' parallel lives to a beloved record.
and the wind
word. if anything, i think this episode's sweetness was a progressive furthering of previous plot threads— shit was not just dug up from out-of-nowhere or an artificial story bullet-point.
Sparks, Efron, i mean ~Really.~
still, less embarrassing than being Zac Efron.
that was just… beautiful.
i liked the opening credits that had the Isley Brothers' "It's Your Thing" with gunfire (before M.I.A. ever got near a cash register). perhaps Carla Gugino can be in a 'Before Watchmen' t.v. series?
it's been that kind of week.
YEP !
well, that song is quite reminiscent of toothy blowjobs…
i too feel like i have nothing with-a-point to add, other than to join in with the admiration of this witty feller. 'Pride of Baghdad', Y, Ex-Machina, he knows how to break a heart. Damn, Gina indeed.
a followup on the light asides, i laughed out loud (or laughed O.L.) when the upright spoon Tom was holding went erm, flaccid, when he realized gentleman-friend wasn't joking about being a republican.
i agree. i LOVED the american "Girl with a Dragon Tattoo" adaptation.
amongst all the fake show-bizzy gestures & trite "#You'reGreatBlablahBlah" tweets, i did love The Line's girl sore loser face & Christina's omission of appreciation of her half of the performance. like Jewel's reactions, some thing's can't be edited away. Gotta Keep It Real!
word! i saw him in bed with his friend-whom-is-a-girl & waited for him to turn to her with a prefaced "gurl, blah blah blah". nope. a very natural kiss instead occurred.
it feels like it was only yesterday i changed the station when their 'big hit' came on. maybs it was.
dammit if i expected better from ex-producers of ProjectRunway. the format, the 'characters,' the actual items, the waste of time i kept waiting for it to improve. Tilda Swinton gets a pass.
i thought she was sportin' a beard. no surprise, due to her well-known fan base: hirsute people.
every time a great one dies, i feel like we're that much further away from a truth.
