It would be very Walking Dead of them to go into the illicit adultery —-> bastard child territory. But I feel like it would bother me less on this show than that show. After all, it was the days before Maury-style DNA tests and nobody would probably be the wiser.
I figured that Abe and Anna's calculation was more

I thought it was the best episode this season. I'm happy that they didn't treat Abe and Anna's dalliance as a one-off that would cause more moral conundrums and awkward encounters. Abe totally doesn't care much about Mary now, aside from not wanting her to see a ball extracted from Pop Woodhull (which is more of a

I liked especially the presence of the "chunder bucket." Please tell me that that was actually a thing.

I'd be pissed if I was Lester. Their ad specifically said they cleaned up crime scenes including suicides. That's false fucking advertising.

You mean "The Showalter Block?"

With all due respect to Key and Peele, it would be a lot harder for them to be funny while also being smart cops. Same with Odenkirk and he's probably a better dramatic actor. There were still some shades of humor with Bill Oswalt basically playing Oprah to Lester.

Russell Harvard and Martin Freeman were the stars of this episode.

Best opening this season IMO.

I dunno. I think Mrs. Hess was probably used to it. That scene had a lot of analogues to compare to - the Sam Hess hooker scene (also doggy style) makes me think that Mrs. Hess was used to it. It was also kind of a reverse of the Chazz Nygaard opener (where the sound gets distorted as well) in which his wife is

I actually went sock shopping at a gun store a month and a half ago….But unfortunately (or fortunately) I didn't get as good a deal.

Once I saw the "S" in tonight's episode, I knew it had to involve Lester and Mrs. Hess. Really the only other possibility was Gus and Molly (too early!) or Chazz Nygaard and Kevin James brother.
The sex scene had some powerful acting by Martin Freeman. But it kind of broke something inside me and I never need to see

"How to do all of the things that you should never do in a police interview" by Bill Oswalt.

I'd rather have seen more of Meegan Warner. But I'm probably alone. They were leading up to the Abe/Anna thing all season long. It's interesting to me that Anna is essentially slightly more blameless because she thinks her husband is dead. It's also interesting that Abe's more aggressive earlier attempts more or less

Considering the situation, "Please Hammer Don't Hurt 'Em" would probably be the more appropriate album.

What we hear is Molly tell someone to stop. There's a gunshot and then a thud. Then Gus panics and fires (possibly because he likes Molly and already lost a wife. He feels like he has to do something.) The another thud.
We know nothing about either shot really. We don't know if Molly fired the first shot. We don't know

IRL, Bemidji's only hospital is listed on Google as "permanently closed." Duluth has a hospital.
I've never been to Minnesota but I liked in some of the exterior shots this week how it clearly looked like a much bigger city (cough cough Calgary).

I actually thought this for a second too. I think it was intentionally misleading. Kind of made the episode seem like a nightmare.

I loved the music during that scene. The passion of the Chumph. Lorne Malvo kills for our sins.

Malvo's employers: We need you to help out this guy in Duluth who's being blackmailed by his wife
Malvo: *Kills or destoys lives of everyone involved*
All I can say is that they must have one tough HR department.

Just stay away from any hammers.
