Let me know if you do!

Congratulations on 16 years!

Congratulations on six months!  That's awesome and it sounds like you have great control.

Oh man, this just makes me more excited to see the miniseries, as I loved the book and the film.

I recorded Endeavour last night and hope to watch it today or tomorrow.   Did you see the pilot episode last year?

Lilo and Stitch might be my favorite Disney ever.    They're a broken family that becomes a blended family; the music is Elvis, the setting is Hawaii, Stitch's voice actor and animation is excellent, and nobody's a princess but everyone's a hero.

I was pretty young when Atlantis came out and I distinctly remembering watching it 4 times in a row on a plane (switching between that and a Hard Day's Night.)   That was enough Atlantis to last me almost a decade, but I do like it a lot.

Has she been in anything else?  What a waste.

What is Princess Diana's house like?

What do you think of the Branaugh Wallander?   I really like it, but I am sort of a Branaugh apologist.   I haven't read the novels or seen the Scandiavian version.    It is rather weird to see signs written in Swedish but hear the British accents.

I read Summer Blonde, by Adrian Tomine, which is a short story/comic collection.  I had never heard of him as I don't really pay attention to the graphic novel scene, but it was pretty great.   He has a way with an ending — every final page caught me in the gut.

Wasn't there a zombiemotherfucker cookbook or something that someone made last December?

I can't get over how much I love Tana French.  It's mystery and psychology and theatre (she trained as an actress) and character development and a fuckton of Irish culture and history and struggle.   So so so wonderful.

Have thoughts at me about Olive Kitteridge?  Didn't love it.  Was mostly depressed by it.   Tell me what I'm missing?

@avclub-df106893a4574bccb7bce1ff66e788b9:disqus   You'll love her.  You really will.  Her knowledge is wide-ranging, her humor is absurdist, and her drawing is excellent.

@avclub-d019eb089e65903455cc52308f00b997:disqus   I don't think you're going to see this, but that actually depends on the tribe.  Some do it by percentage, some do it by other cultural traditions/heritages.

(that like was me, disqus fail again)

The softening/desexualizing of Sheldon from unaired to aired is startling too.

Oh man, I never saw that alternate universe episode!  Do you remember what season it was/how I can track it down?

Disney nostalgia is everywhere, especially in nerdier girl circles.  It's comforting, entertaining, and safe.
