Roseanne also definitely fluctuated in weight between seasons.  She was always on the larger side, but some years she was heavy and some years she was heading towards obese.

Oh, I like that!

Yes, and I was around the age to appreciate the OMGSOCUTEness of the older sons.   Although I think I mostly saw after-school reruns, not live shows.

@avclub-9976473e5d3a3143ced6cf1511098e5b:disqus   Woah, that's really interesting!.   I wonder if the atmostphere is different today, what with all the emphasis on showrunners…

:D

You know, I think it says something that I was as excited to tell my AVClub friends about this as my offline fellow drama geeks…

details, details

@avclub-f2b489efd726db529335e31c83509c73:disqus ahahah I agree, I was mostly kidding.  I don't live in NY and can only see about one Broadway show a year, if that.  I do go to a lot of cheap/storefront/student theatre when I can.   I didn't want to pay $70 to see Legally Blonde, but it was entertaining and interesting

I clicked like, but horseebooks is actually kinda profound at times.  this movie looks like it wants to be both profound and a shoot-em-up and apparently fails at both.

yeah I came here to read about the movie and am bewildered/amused/annoyed all in one.

Word.

I'm also excited because A) the minor in theatre is unexpectedly relevant; B) the amount of money/time I spend on Broadway shows (watching and geeking out) is now justifiable as "career related expenses"…

lol.  editing, but nice work.

Sue's clothing is particularly fantastic, especially since Eden Sher is obviously past puberty but they need to make her look both young and dorky.   It's the look that Glee (fucking Glee) tried to pull off with Lea Michele and failed miserably.

I like them both, but I also think Roseanne (the show) did a better job of depicting a loving if teasing/complicated working-class marriage.  Hal and Lois are hysterical, but the comedy was a lot broader.

This is far less of a big deal, but my father is a doctor and he cannot watch any medical shows (dramas or even comedies; he really hates House) because he spends too much time being mad at them for getting shit wrong.

I really love The Middle, you guys.  Nothing coherent.  It's just a really, really great little show.

lol salary TBD; i wouldn't exactly say it's "paying off"

FRANKO I GOT THE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahem.   I'm excited.   Not inebriated yet.
