Yeah, I fully support O'Neal snark in most endeavors, but I like this series a lot. I don't think you have to be ashamed about it!

wait, I really want to see that, though. Garret Dillahunt is surprisingly talented. (and attractive!)
I wish I could dislike this truth. :(
the wordplay on Mary Kay and "mary jane" just kills me.
Considering that Daley the elder is actually dead…
Haha, fair point. I glossed over the "unconscious" part.
Tom is gorgeous, but I am too old for that to be OK. You go for it, though.
This. So much this. All of the shirtless photos (made easy because he's a swimmer) are awesome, but if I met him in real life, I'd run away very, very fast.
@E.Buzz Miller (Disqus won't let me select your name?) Passover does commemorate the Exodus, but the Jews in that era mainly celebrated it by making a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. It doesn't really celebrate the overthrow of the Greek occupiers? Unless in this case that's just a comparison to the Egyptian…
So, so good. She's really subversive with her lyrics, underneath the country softness. I really hope the A.V. Club covers her more often.
@avclub-6c6094f256f51e83fe02bce6091163e7:disqus Not to get all angry feminist on you, but I think a lot of girls don't understand that because the Hollywood/beauty industrial complex makes so much money telling girls to diet obsessively or they'll die alone.
Kacey Musgraves is great. All of her songs are slow-moving acoustic ballads (not quite the right word) about actually enjoying sex and broken dreams and the shittiness of small town life. and she's even slipped in a few pro-gay rights references!
The 3 of us who read your recaps love them!
I am definitely not a big tattoo fan, but the counterpoint is this: your whole body will age anyway. You might as well rock the tats while your body's young.
I LOVED EVERWOOD SO MUCH. EPHRAM WAS SO CUTE AND BRIGHT AND HANNAH MADE THE BEST COUPLE!!!!
Oh wow, the A.V. Club teaches me so much!*
I forgot how much I loved the old TWoP… I was all over those Gilmore Girls recaps. And very very early Project Runway, I think.
@avclub-fec1b8d3fbc08f27a84e5a334d45bb5a:disqus perfect example of a comment that I "Liked" but not, you know, liked…
they're not the first news org to write that article, either. i know it's stupid to hope that critics will make a big difference, but a lot of internet people really love it. (see above list)
I still find it amazing that popular culture even HAS cliches about what lesbians (real lesbians, not stunts) are like.
