i am in some major fucking denial, but i agree with what everyone said about scheduling.

I really don't watch PLL, but some of my friends are obsessed.   And having read some the books (it's like pop rocks for your brain!) it seems like the main thing about this show is that they've run out of logical plotlines and are just creating more ridiculous ones to keep it going.

i mean, if you want to, uh, pirate, i might be able to hook you up…

I was suprised at how much I came to love a modest comedy about a modest family.    I love Sue and Axl's dynamic.  I think they're the best brother-sister pairing on television right now.

Yes!  Shameless is so great.  (It's on Season 3 by now, but they're short seasons because cable).

I know that picture of Noel Fisher is really unfortunate (that bleach job whyyyyyyy) but his role on Shameless is actually pretty complex.  Fisher does a really great job of making a bullying, thieving, alcoholic dickbag in juvie someone you want to root for.

Wow, I was avoiding this movie like the plague, but this is legitimately a good reason to watch it.   For free, I mean.

I have to say, I really enjoy threads where ladies (and gay dudes?) get to perv on attractive male celebrities for a change.   Alison Brie is gorgeous, but I got nothing to contribute there.

@avclub-1881baeccb7399f3452cd7f37cdb2b29:disqus , you have excellent taste in imaginary boyfriends.  Can we have an open relationship/boyfriend share with Hoult and Whishaw?

thanks for the recs!

For real.

@jkmatteson:disqus  Also, because there are so many people who react emotionally to swearing, you are more likely to persuade the other side (or at least listening bystanders) if you can make the same cutting remarks without "dirty language".   Your audience will actually listen to what you're saying instead of being

Yeah, I'm pretty surprised at everyone who read it in college — it was a part of our 9th grade curriculum for all English levels.

I will always be a fan of photos of attractive men with animals, even if Sean makes it weird.   I'd be up for this as a weekly sub-feature of Newswire.

Cool.   I generally don't care much about New Ways To Do TV, but I think the potential change in how we discuss shows is kind of neat.

@avclub-d0cf409eb912cc0cc950b41b6d892d07:disqus  word.   I am pretty uninterested in privileged white boy pain.  Not that their feelings are invalid, just that it's really boring.

Good to know, thanks!   Given that there's a 40% chance I actually won't end up watching it…

Not only is he much cooler, he wouldn't be an ass about gay marriage or a suspected war criminal.
