I LOVE those books!

That happens: I relapsed about a dozen times before it finally stuck: started going to meetings in March 2015, didn't get sober until August. I'm glad you're keeping up with the Smart meetings, though: I found that sticking to a meeting schedule really helped me. And thank you for YOUR updates: they're an inspiration…

I remember where I was when I made it and everything. My life is so different and so much better now, but I'm glad I've had y'all along the way. I AM proud, thank you!

Y'all have been a ton of help! Thank you!

Thank you!

Wooot! So glad you're rid of them.

HOORAY! I will make sure Iffy doesn't buy them in the meantime. Thanks muchly: I love SG so.

How are those compared to the show?

I'm reading a Bradbury short story collection, I Sing the Body Electric. This was after a reread of The Origins of Totalitarianism, so it'll be lighter reads for me for a bit.

HA! I can see buckwheat doing that.

It feels like it happened so quickly! Thank you!

Thank you!

Thanks, Gumbercules!

I'm ecstatic about it! I'm excited to get a coin at my Saturday meeting, and then again in September at my home group meeting (I have to wait a month for my sponsor to be in town for it)

I actually thought the Whedon run was kind of weak, though I did love one new character. But it's still Runaways, so it's still good.

I need to re-read those.

HA! I'm not, but my dad would VERY MUCH approve: he smokes regularly and grows his own.

Mmmm…ginger ale!

I'm glad! It's a great place full of great people, and I'm glad you're one of 'em now!

Aww, thanks, that means a lot to hear! I won't be using the site after the switch, but I'll be active at The Avocado and on the Tolerability Index Forum.
