Thanks for the review, Scott. This has always been one of my favorite romantic comedies and I have a wealth of great memories watching it with different people.

I liked it more on a second viewing. It missed a ton of stuff, but they did lure families into a movie theater just to show a polar bear having his jaw smacked off.
I don't plan on seeing The Lorax because I fundamentally disagree with the shameless consumerism that's at complete odds with the message of the book. But one of my first film professors told me that a film should never be compared to the book it's based on. His argument was that they're two totally different texts…
Yeah, Skyrim's my first ES game. The funny thing is that there's almost no indication of what you can do with items. There's a way of reading video games contextually. If I play any J-RPG, I know exactly how the mechanics and items work. Skyrim may be my first American RPG and it's a whole new sort of literacy.
So jazzed to watch Being Elmo this week. Kevin Clash is hell of nice and the doc looks great.
Agreed. Comedy Factory is the fucking pits. Although it was kind of worth the price of admission to see Alabama make fun of people from Dundalk.
Ditto on the Oscars. Watched Top Gear instead!
Watched some Justified. It was great. I feel like I'm hanging out with old friends from Elmore Leonard's stories when I watch the show.
I like this so I 'liked' it.
If you say his name three times in the mirror, ZMF appears to tell you that Candyman is the BEST FUCKING MOVIE EVER.
Maybe someone else has brought this up, but I'm too lazy to check. Does anyone else find it ironic that The Lorax will consume untold numbers of trees and wreak hell on the environment in its efforts to sell merchandise and promote the film? It just seems incredibly crass for a multi-million dollar waste of resources…
OHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
This works better with an avatar next to your name.
I think calling a puppet the c-word is a bit excessive but I agree with your sentiment here.
That's what I love about the Dark Crystal - either everything moves or you get the feeling it could move. It's vibrant and there's tons of life in the most mundane places.
Did anyone else think of that Workaholics song about Entrapment?

I hope this "map of Uhmerica" leads them to an off-shore oil drilling rig that solely contains a Krusty Burger

If you see Hoskins, just show him Madonna's half-time show. Her scary cricket leg arms will send him packing.
Always the Cory, never the Shawn, right?
I get that "You look like Seth Rogen" shit a lot, too. I think it's just the curly hair/beard combo.
