Except for the horses and anyone who dies later because all the wheat that got torched, the battle as fought had no civilian casualties. King's Landing would have plenty is the reasoning. That the population has not grown to expect that kind of thing from everyone with a title is debatable.

I upgrade you to smattering of applause.

He stole The Terminator plot from Harlan Ellison, so that one was pretty good.

Why no comparison to Gone with the Wind? Romance story that also had big-budget spectacle going for it, disaster for a backdrop, troubled production, raked it in at the box office for months.

I also do not know how loyal Dothraki will be over the long run if she does not let them loose once in a while.

Well, it would have gotten her all the wheat, which apparently she needs.

As it turned out, they did have something that did harm and could kill the dragon. Ned Stark once gave the Lannisters a chance to run.

I think there are many people who would love to have that job, and if the reviewer does not like it so much, they can maybe find someone else, at least someone who likes the show. You, for one.

I think he would, if she earned it first instead of asking for it as the ante.

He looked genuinely sympathetic asking Dickon (ha, ha) about the battle and hearing his response about having to kill old hunting buds. I contrast this with him buttering up the person guarding him several seasons ago who had been a squire at some event of his, then what happened next.

Is he going full Paul Atriedes now?

Yes. Yes it does. And she is there with her hot friends.

Well. Watching television then writing about it. It's as tough a job as being a Welsh coal miner ca. 1902.

I think that they do not spend a lot of time having Stark characters telling each other things that we already know in order to save air time.

Robb was kind of boring, so I feel that I should have seen that coming more. Alas, I did [spoiler] not. I have not read the books - do those folks serve as the narrators of different sections?

About ten feet from shore. Must be a karst formation or something.

Bronn seemed to get the hang of it fast. I would buy "we are keeping it hidden until a dragon shows up so that they get no advance warning of our one secret anti-dragon weapon."

Sorry. Oscar Goldman.

We are about to be attacked by people who have dragons. Maybe have someone get that big crossbow ready to fire just in case?

I thought of the number of times that Lannister soldiers were portrayed in the show as complete frat boy dickheads, so I did not miss them as much. They buy into the system when it benefits them. More of her Dothraki would have been killed without the dragon strafing runs, so how could she not use it?
