Ok, I see now. I totally agree — this sometimes falls under something no one has brought up yet: rumors.  I really dislike seeing rumor in bios or non-fiction because they 98% of the time get read as truth, regardless of intent. I wonder if e-books will change this connection we seem to make with the printed word =

Great point — it is much harder when the circle is smaller and much of the work they do is alone — that's exactly the problem I had. But entirely BS? There are always ways to get at a subject, I think, they just may not be as traditional.
