I sympathize with finding Ulysses difficult.  I've read it twice and don't need to return to it.  But comparing comprehension of it to Shakespeare?  Shakespeare is relatively easy; there's a reason he's the only artist from that time period still popularly known today.  Sometimes difficult things are still

These shows kind of gradually got worse.  Only one show had the audacity to interrupt its storyline to have its characters explain 9/11 to us, where we were portrayed by schoolchildren.

I only like 500 Days because I think you're not supposed to like the girl and they're not supposed to be together.  But man, that kind of dampens the enjoyability of the movie.  She's a douche!  He's kind of blind to it!

I stopped watching Simpsons regularly long before, but seeing an episode where Homer frames his wife for a felony was it for me.  This isn't a funny family; this is an abusive situation headed by a lifelong drunk.

I can't disagree with you more about the first group number and "My Girl."  The latter was just… ptui, and Janelle was sloppy next to Dareion.  The group number felt like Tyce trying to ape both Sonya and Wade Robson at once.  Sure, it was actually Napoleon/Tabitha, but it still seemed derivative of choreographers who

I hate her SO MUCH.  She's so fake, she fucking CRIED over Paula Deen showing up.  Paula Deen!  Everything about her is THE WORST.

That story/description of his thinking made me laugh so hard, and I don't even know why.  It's just great.

Just looking at the picture, that doesn't look like rotating series of hair dyes.

Last week I didn't know who Will was — we were all, "where did fatty come from?!"  and I was prepared to dislike him from the rehearsal footage.  But holy shit was that a snow job.  He's got crazy charisma onstage.

Kinda sounds like he's biting David Grann's journalism here.
