I only like 500 Days because I think you're not supposed to like the girl and they're not supposed to be together.  But man, that kind of dampens the enjoyability of the movie.  She's a douche!  He's kind of blind to it! 

I stopped watching Simpsons regularly long before, but seeing an episode where Homer frames his wife for a felony was it for me.  This isn't a funny family; this is an abusive situation headed by a lifelong drunk.
