I think there are a few of us that always make sure to write in and praise The Lost Room.

This is reassuring, should it be true.  The supposed rift between these two people bothers me more than it should.

The Good Wife has like ten of these!  How come no one has mentioned Cary, or Ma Florrick, or that blonde high school girl, or like all the recurring attorneys?

When I heard the rumor, I thought it was ridiculous.  But having seen the movie, she sounds a helluva lot like (coincidentally) Laura san Giacomo, and nothing like Carano.  

There is a small number of people with a working knowledge of Supreme Court jurisprudence.  The larger number of people who frequently express strong opinions about the intelligence of Justices, the quality of their written work, and their influence by other Justices almost never seems to overlap with the first group.

Why would someone watch a show out of political correctness?  And then read a (longish, rave) review of it?  And then comment anonymously?  What the fuck goes on in your head?  You're trolling, full stop.

I've agreed with this sentiment before, and will agree with it again.  That show is too fucking overproduced.  

I don't read him on Salon, but good god his punkass musings on gawker — he was 23/24! — were actually worse than Mo Tkacik talking about money.  No one ever talks about how getting older means means coming across a strangely large population of young hacks who've been blogging for three years straight out of college…
