Beats in high school. Confessionalists freshman year. Ashbery sophomore year. Then nothing nearly as exciting as any of them, American-poetry-wise, although I really can't read the Beats anymore, except maybe Corso and some Ginsburg. 

check out her tweets. she could have been a 16 year old who writes poetry. too bad she threw it all away on that dude.
