That was a well coordinated fight. It just threw me since Planet of the Apes is quite possibly my preferred choice of the field. Maybe Interstellar.

Over Apes? Personally, I'll always lean toward the effects that create characters I care about (the apes, Groot, Rocket). Azog, being an orc, was a pretty one-note performance. Smaug was more impressive to me, but he's barely in this one.
