That's one of the main things I like about it. There are a couple college sports events that have the same one-night-only thing going on, but who wants to have a party on a Monday?

"I don't really browse Facebook or Twitter."

I don't know if I'd want to do that every year, but it does sound fun. I'm always interested to hear about how other countries handle events like that.

I'm excited by the idea of Suicide Squad being in this universe, but man was that line awkward. If we pretend the camera isn't there, why on earth does she feel the need to clarify that it's a "squad," like that's such a different thing it bears mentioning right up top?

You were most assuredly not the first.

I can't raise my hand; it's the only thing keeping my sock on.

Psych has been switched from Regular Coverage to Occasional Drop-In. I can understand why, but I actually would have liked to see something written about that bizarre "remake" episode.

In a rare moment, Alex blamed his own reading ability for Cesar's misspelling. I was pretty shocked by that. That's the kind of moment that usually prompts a comment that comes off as patronizing from him.

I'm sure they're nice people, but after silently suffering through a CAH game a couple months ago (I made sure to be a good sport and not to ruin the fun for anyone else) and hearing nothing but praise for it on the internet, it was a relief to hear someone bag on it a little. Jordan's critiques were pretty spot on, I

I found this to be a strong Judge John Hodgman, based mainly on the Weird Dad factor. There have been a lot of bad Terrible Young Person litigants lately, so a guy who obviously sincerely believes his weird beliefs and is uninterested in being amusing for the podcast is refreshing.

"The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)" was
nominated for Record of the Year in 1959, the first year of the Grammys. How we ever fell so far from those heights of artistry I'll never know.

Add in Flight and Wolf of Wall Street and we're on our way to
a whole Inventory of Heroic Cocaine scenes.

That's a good point. This show should be expanding that world, but it seems to spend more time trying to make it smaller.

My favorite was the bit of ad copy they made an NFL commentator (I forget which one) read a couple weeks ago: "If House were a lawyer, he'd be Rake!" Really just making the subtext of the ad campaign into straight-up text.

The Tim Sale stuff is great to mostly good. The Ultimate stuff is universally considered truly abysmal. Hush is a divisive in between thing that's either awesome or terrible depending who you ask.

I will love it if Stilt-Man is in the Daredevil show. Maybe as a client for Murdock and Nelson?

As an American whose job requires him to look at Canadian town names all day, I'll upvote any Medicine Hat reference.

I was just thinking about this last night. When one of your biggest shows only airs for three weeks at a time, it seems like it should be pretty easy to find three consecutive weeks without a huge Sunday night event, but maybe not.

I'd say the article is right on about Garth Brooks being a very Leno choice. Sometimes the Leno aesthetic bumps up against something that also happens to be good.
