This show pulled me in last season because the writing delivers some great pop culture hilarity on top of the acting+chemistry being a piece above marginal. This premier fell a little flat with me but not so much that I'll go do something else next week after Modern Family. I think Happy Endings earned this spot and

My shithead dumbass comment was supposed to go here. Damn you Netscape Navigator.

But it really works, and it's free.

Riverworld.

Being as the probe revealed the timeline was different, you may be on to something there. And thanks for bringing the comments back to Terra Nova - now let's talk about Fringe some more instead of Lost.

Or, to put a finer point on that, "actively working to initiate in order to beat those evil liberals at their own game. Mwahahahaha!"

My wife, who doesn't watch the show (yet) was sucked in and stood there watching the end with me. After it was over she said, "Some season finale !"

"Who’s the Alec Guinness character in this series? At the moment, I gotta go with Walt."

There could be one or two seasons of fun here. Yes, the show def needs to lighten up some, but it's got a decent foundation in elements such as tortured soul with unlimited resources, a la Bruce Wayne with more laser beam focus on the actual evildoers who done him wrong. I hope we'll get more background about Amanda's

I remember a couple of "Survivor" seasons ago (in the days before I became disenchanted by all jungle, all the time) when seeing the Aztek was the featured vehicle prize. Total Nelson "hahaaaah" moment.

Don' go in dere !

The necklace is undoubtedly to be presented to Hector/Tio as proof to him that, save for his own  slow, painful, and mute demise, Gus has completed the circle of "sangre por sangre."

There ya' go - some Spaghetti-style brass tootin' in the background would've been perfect(ly silly).

It was sublime foreshadowing of the unfuckwithableness when the tres Hermanos were standing in the field waiting for the plane - I want a poster of that.

I Agree. And that's one of the great foils in BB - Hank's excitement at sharing stuff with his brainy BIL. I predict they play it until the reveal of Walt's biz and then Hank gives a little backstory as to how and when he figured it all out.

Predictions:
(1) When Hank gets the utterly shocking news of who pays his med bills, his lawman suspicion triggers the mastery of emotion to play it cool cuz he knows the trail to Heisenberg just got warmer.(2) La casa Blanca busts enfuego after Skyler packs the last square foot of the crawlspace with a vac-bag of

Dude plays seething old man like nobody's bidness.

And Hank treats Marie like his Woodhouse, so…(great subplot idea - Marie on the Horse)

The ole' "have a drink on me so I can get your fingerprints" isn't the most original plot device, but it's serviceable as the bridge between Hank's seeing Gale's Pollos bag and the reveal of his homework. And I think Gus' ability to play the magnanimous host poked a hole in his cunning to "keep his enemies close" -
