"Well, now that you're divorced, at least you can have sex with other people." Oh Sonya, never change.

What happened to all the old The Bridge reviews? All I'm finding is a single review of Season 1 of the Danish/Swedish version.

Cake's fourth-wall-breaking to mock LSP's shitty writing was pretty great: "How does he know your name?"

Woo Psychic Tandem War Elephant! That was a pretty hilarious moment, realizing that they'd just been storing him amidst their treasure for the past couple of years. This was a pretty good episode; I particularly like the part where Finn apologetically hands the couple bags of money and then yells "Don't eat it, you

re: Jake not untying himself and Jake, I imagine he was just too lazy to think of that.

I enjoy the running gags on Welcome to Night Vale, such as the way that Cecil regularly elaborates whenever he mentions John Peters by adding "you know, the farmer."

Congrats on the house sale!

There were a handful of songs off of Civilian that I really, really liked, particularly the title track, but for me the dirgeing got a bit tiresome over the forty minutes or so of the album's duration; the latter half of the album felt a bit lackluster to me. I've only given Shriek one full listen, but Wasner's voice

Whoa, that sucks, man. I'm sorry. Good luck with the court summons going as smoothly as possible.

I got the chance to see The Wolf of Wall Street on Saturday. I thought it was pretty great, and you can count me into the "the excess of excess was the whole point" crowd, in that I didn't find it to be a super-bloated film. This could be due to the fact that the last movie I saw was The Desolation of Smaug, which

Hey, be fair! It takes a long time to come up with album titles when you're competing with Fiona Apple for "longest album title-poem-thingy."

Modest Mouse: Their last studio album was in 2007, and their last EP was in 2009. They've been writing new material for a while, but and I'm hoping that this year they'll finally put a new album out.

Adventure Time is awesome, and only gets a lot better after the first season.

Sorry, I meant V. as in something else. In this case Thomas Pynchon's first novel from 1963. There are a lot less alien-lizard-people in it than there are in TV-show-V. The Pynchon book is also a lot better than the crappy remake show from about 4 years ago, although I can't speak for the original sci-fi series,

I didn't do a lot of pop culture this week, but

Shit, I'm sorry, Al.

I watched Thor: The Dark World on Friday, which was about as average as the first Thor film. Tom Hiddleston was pretty good, but having also watched the first Thor earlier in the day, I'm kind of confused as to the obsession with him. He's just good; that's really about it, as far as I can tell. I did like the

Eh, calling the supernatural stuff "forced" doesn't make a ton of sense to me, at least. The show has always been about the batshit insane with only the flimsiest of explanations tacked on. That's part of the show's charm.

I should also note that, because I'm overly spoiler-phobic about shows I love, all I read of this article was the title.
