Homsar is probably my favorite non-sequitur spouting character of all time.

Thanks Lupin!

From one college senior to another, good luck with the job and the future and life in the real world and all that stuff!

Congrats on 40 weeks PaNoire. I didn't interact with you much on here, but I'll miss your commentary/weekly sobriety updates. Good luck with everything, man.

Holy shit, glad to hear that you're OK. That seems pretty terrifying. God, sorry to hear about that though.

???

Yeah, I've heard that the second season is nowhere near as great as the first, which is disappointing, because it's been so great so far and so unlike anything I've ever seen.

Damn it, so I stopped watching the Pats-Saints game too soon?  Blah, I couldn't even get that right this weekend when it came to watching sports.

I think the reviewer pointed out how convenient a setting Malta was from a practical standpoint, as it would allow one to film in the similarly sunny California, so, were they filming in Malta?

@avclub-75e43c12ef9f1cfdaeae92ca6fa90640:disqus Yeah, I mean, fine the guy if you want to, but as long as he doesn't engage in actual physical altercations with anybody as a coach, this isn't really much worse than one of John Tortarella's frequent outbursts.  You know what you're getting with Roy in terms of

Yeah, the Leafs are doing great, although I've been more cognizant of the Avs hot start, because it's so much more surprising, and because they beat you guys earlier this week.

My dad had shingles a few years back, and from what I gleaned, shingles are the fucking worst.  So you have my sympathies on that.

Good news on all counts then!

Yeah, you would probably have enjoyed "Monarch of the Glen better if you'd read American Gods.  There's a couple of characters from another of Gaiman's short stories in there as well.

Sorry to hear about that.  Even assuming that the cops have got the right guy, that's still scary not to mention a huge hassle.

Yeah, now that I think about it, there's a good chance that with a username as generic as mine, there'll already be another random dude in the Disqus-verse, and I'm kind of starting to wonder what's going to happen to my name/very existence as an AV-Club-commenting entity.

I think I've heard that the record of everyone's comments/grades/etc will be ported over to Disqus-land, so you shouldn't lose everything.  I think?

Happy Birthday!

For being Gaiman-penned stories, "Monarch of the Glen" and that Beowulf movie from a few years back are kind of meh.  The dynamic between Grendel and his mom is interesting though.

Stuff I watched:  Parks and Rec S6E3,  Dopplegangers:  I enjoyed it.  It was a lot funnier than last week's episode, although at some point in the very near future they are going to have to have an episode that displays Awesome Leslie rather than Annoying Leslie.  Also, as the reviewer said, I really hope they
