There was a games section back in the day, but then they moved off and created The Gameological Society. I almost never visited them, but I get the feeling that their TGS' did a better job of talking about video games than the old games section did.

If a post is clearly just unfunny or intolerant troll bullshit, I don't think there's anything wrong with flagging that either, especially if the post is coming from a user who seems to have devoted their profile to such trolling.
How are fans of these two franchises feeling about the Ryan trade at this point in time, now that they've had a chance to see a couple of games with the new acquisitions in action?
Wait, Jason Ritter? As in that guy from The Event? Has good chemistry? While acting? With another human being?
I'm sorry, Floyd D Barber.
The US version sticks closely to the original, to its detriment. It makes the implausibilities and absurdities of the omnipotent killer even more glaring. However, the acting is excellent, and it's pretty clear that the show is going to do its own thing in Season 2, and I'm really looking forward to that.

"You son of a blee-blob!"
Yeah, the fact that we haven't seen him yet, despite concessions to his party being the main source of conflict in the season thus far is actually making me worry that they might not have been able to get the actor who plays Svend Age back, which makes me sad.
The Tolerability Index. Basically, it's kind of pointless, so a while back, the commentariat rebelled and turned it into a place to discuss whatever they want, even if it's only tangentially related to, or not related at all to, pop culture.
Meh, ctrl+F is how I keep up on conversations on this place with my shitty laptop. Well, this may very well be the thing that most drastically limits my own commenting on this site.
Hey, sorry to ask this random question, but judging from this comment that I'm replying to, you seem to be pretty knowledgeable about this NuDisqus stuff. So what exactly is happening with the NuDisqus thing? Do I have to do anything if I only ever signed up for my profile through the AV Club, and not through Disqus?
Philip is awesome. Other awesome characters that I'd like to see more of are Sanne and Svend Age. Sanne, because she is also the best. Svend Age because he's so unfailinglyentertaining in his right-wing un-self-aware craziness, and he's got to have some sort of opinion on this new bullshit bill that he's forced the…
Yeah, I guess sometimes I just base too much of my internal characterization of characters in LOTR off how they appear in the films.
Shakespeare makes Hamlet's madness deliberately ambiguous. So yeah, I guess there's the question of how much of Hamlet's insanity is fabricated, and how much of it he thinks he's fabricating.
Simon Petrikov's transformation into the Ice King on Adventure Time.
There's an opera version of A Streetcar Named Desire?
Speaking of insanity in Shakespeare…
I never thought of the book that way but that's a really good point, and adds some depth to Sam, whom I'd previously thought of as profoundly lacking in depth compared with Gollum/Frodo.
@avclub-c6447300d99fdbf4f3f7966295b8b5be:disqus The ending to that chapter was the most chilling part of the mattress incident to me, where Himself is watching a detached closet door handle spinning on the floor of his room after having been subjected to his father's insanity and verbal abuse, and then Himself…
