Holy crap thank you for this. I am still highly unlikely to see this, but being Japanese, I've had a low-grade resentment towards this adaptation and this definitely turns the pressure down about 1000 notches and is also a lesson to me in reserving judgement and keeping my mouth shut until I get the actual facts

DVD PLAYER!

Works both ways. I've been in the middle of the crosswalk on a solid red light and been bumpered by a guy who was on his phone and didn't realize his foot was coming off the brake until I started yelling at him. And I'm pretty regularly having close calls from people making turns or not noticing light changes while

Giardano Bruno might argue that science has been political since the 1500s.

Nah, Madonna's daughter has only been around since 1996.

KHAL MORO: You've heard of fury and a woman scorned, haven't you?

Good people don't have anything to worry about.

Some years ago, I was told by people older than me that I shouldn't be around other women's partners alone because it would give people grist for gossip that would reflect badly on me, as I was single and female, even if it was for legit reasons. He's playing on the desires of every girl Tina's age +/- 30 yrs with a modicum of self-awareness, really.

It can be two things. I mean, have you seen Steven Seagal lately?

I actually LOLed at the first shot of Flanley's arms. And then his cube neighbour prairie-dogging about the smell of the cream. And then Flanley acquiescing. Basically I LOLed a lot.

Hear hear. Right before the episode ended it struck me how Flanley could have come off as a total gullible sad sack case, but Marino's voice acting went a long way to convincing me he was sincere. (Credit to the animation as well, but the voice acting was totally spot-on.)

OH SURE FIX IT SO MY COMMENT LOOKS LIKE IT WAS MADE BY A CRAZY PERSON WHICH I AM DEFINITELY NOT.

Hey AV Club, you're missing some script begin and end markers somewhere:

I actually like raw kale. Also kale chips. Steamed kale. Marinated kale. Stewed kale. I just like/don't mind winter/bitter greens in general. Even raw chard, which I am told is freakish. Iffy on the GI tract in large quantities, though.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I literally just realized that Mort is a mortician. But LOOK EVERYONE IT'S MORT!
