I haven't read any of Gaiman's stuff for years, but I grew up wearing out a basically-stolen-from-the-elementary-school-library copy of Padraic Column's collection of Norse myths, and a few years ago I went a huge Viking reading kick including the Eddas, so yeah, colour me excited to buy it at lunch.

BTW this wasn't intended as a slight on your original comment - we never saw the inside of the building. But a few years ago, Trump was pretty much a punch line, and honestly, this huge over-the-top brassy monolith in the middle of an empty asphalt ocean was a hoot to behold as the sun came up.

Five or so years ago, my mom and I stayed at Treasure Island with a full-on view of the Trump hotel. It was so incredibly gaudy-looking - we woke up every morning and pointed and laughed at the empty parking lot. ::sigh::

Yeah, normally I take my coffee black, unless it's just bad coffee, but I was just so excited about the novelty of HOT COFFEE IN A CAN and before I knew it, I was acclimated. Plus it's condensed/evaporated milk/non-dairy creamer.
