These puns are cramping my style.

I swear that there are days when I'm at work and the prospect of retiring and starting something similar to Old Friends is the only thread keeping my sanity in check.

We graduated to Monopoly after Parker Bros' Payday - which I remember as a nice slimmed-down version of Monopoly and seems to be one of the few old Parker Bros' games that doesn't exist anymore (except for "vintage" "GUC" "still in original packaging" etc. condition).

Hey, kudos to any man putting a smile on my mom's 70+ year-old face.

He actually wrote for Ballykissangel, among other things, which I find kind of… disappointing? In that I think I remember watching a few episodes and not hating it and his wife produces pandering dreck like "50 Shades".

I watched One Piece for the first time over the holidays at my mom's. On JapanTV, in Japanese. It was the first time I'd ever heard of it, but my mom's apparently been watching it on and off for months. Between her watching that and Conan Edogawa, I took to calling her "ota-kaasan" (combining "otaku" and "okaasan",

It's still TV? I gave up on that, after season two.

"…I am just so satisfied…"

Outdoor live event during the winter in New York being broadcast to millions? No way she's *not* going to lipsync it.

WELCOME.

I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Since then, I find I have to re-login pretty frequently (like, every half hour or so at times), but as long as I logout via the cog icon in the top toolbar and login using the user icon on the front page, I've been able to keep using this AVC account.

Twentysomething me would've watched the snot out of Krycek vs Will Truman.

In my head I read that as the Louvin Brothers. The Statler Brothers are probably better known for a) not being brothers at all, b) recording what was probably the definitive version of "Oh Happy Day", and c) having some seriously bad pun singles titles like "You Can't Have Your Kate and Edith, Too".

Yeah, I've subbed bacon fat for butter (the reverse direction) 1:1 for cookies, cakes, Rice Krispie squares… So I would assume it works the other way, more or less.

As much as I hate to say this, Magic! are Canadian and probably thus disqualified from the gig.

Muad'dib in the streets,
Harkonnen in the sheets…

Dang it, the imminent release of P5 means I might actually have to suck it up and buy a PS4 in the near-future. I was kind of hoping the lukewarm response to FFXV meant I could hold out until the later part of 2017.

Well, I guess I'll meet you behind the middle school, then. For the greater good, of course.
