Did they get a cinematographer from L&O? It looked EXACTLY right.

Aren't the Buddhist monks a response to Tony briefly seeing the bald Asian doctor staring down at him? I mean, I suppose they are whateever you want to read them as, but I assumed that was a shout out to Tony's subconscious picking up on that.
I totally agree about the first five episodes of this season. That stretch is absolutely brilliant. It's too bad that the back half of 6.1 aren't nearly as strong.
HOW DID THIS NOT GET AN A?!?!?!?!
That was my one complaint about the episode. Old Mountain was pitch perfect, this one is a little too lanky.
Agreed!!! How did this not get an A?!?!?!? I'm not even a newbie and I thought they improved on the book.
Same here. I thought this was one of the best episodes of the show ever. There was so much detail in a world created for just one episode! I loved the Big Brother Observer posters. I do hope we get back to it, but mainly just because I found it so much fun.
Yeah. I guess they're going for a "Muslims can be good Americans, too." But they go about this by having Rashad basically be cool with Anti-Muslim speech and totally against any mild Anti-American speech. Kind of dropped the ball there.
Season 5 is my favorite season of the whole show and I think Season 6 features some of the best episodes but is a little more uneven. I'd probably put Season 3 above it. But the cinematography and editing in seasons 5 & 6 are almost feature-film quality. They really stepped up their game.
I thought it would have been a good episode in a vacuum, but it seemed jarringly out of place where it was put in the series and featured Tony behaving in ways that weren't referenced before or since.
I love almost all of the music cues while Tony is in limbo. The first five or so episodes this season are all amazing.
Season Six gets a lot of grief, but if you take the first five episodes (up through Johnny Sack's daughter's wedding) and then the back 8, you'd have a pretty amazing season of television. Maybe throw out the random "Tony is a gambling addict" episode though.
Not a great movie, but "Freebie and the Bean" features a chase that ends with Adam Arkin and James Caan driving into a fifth story apartment.
The Raiders convoy scene is my go-to "Favorite movie scene." Once Indy rides off on that white horse, it's just amazing cinematography, editing and stuntwork for 10 straight minutes.
That's the LA River. Yes, it's considered a river out here. I had a friend who fell in it, accidentally swallowed some water and spent the night in the emergency room vomiting.
Ronin has 3 chases that all could be considered the best in film. I'll give some love for the final chase in Death Proof, too. The last 20 minutes of that movie are amazing.
Fixed. I was borderline on that one, but I think you're right. Yeah, the last few episodes don't really do a whole lot for me. The one with the child soldiers is really good, but the rest just don't have the same feeling to me.
"Who wants out of jail?"
SPOILERS
Anyone want to lay odds on what government agency he'll secretly be working for? NSA? OSS? Maybe the Sons will be accused of polluting the Charming river and he'll reveal he works for the EPA, thereby conveniently clearing them of any wrongdoing.
