I always thought that "Night of the Doctor" missed a trick by not letting the 8th Doctor catch a few glimpses of potential bodies from which to choose (a la the 2nd Doctor at his trial), and showing that two of them were the Children in Need Doctor (Rowan Atkinson) and the Scream of the Shalka Doctor.
Later on, when the nurse is leading some of the proto-Cybermen down the hallway, they're saying something different. Closed captioning said "Tie me", but someone else said it sounded more like "Die me" - neither of which make *perfect* sense. Anyone got any thoughts?

Even when it was originally broadcast, Hartnell showed up in "The Five Doctors" via a pre-credits clip from "The Dalek Invasion of Earth," so the comparison wasn't that tough to make.
Erm… Continuum *did* have a fourth season. It was only 6 episodes, but it brought the story to a definite conclusion. (And yes, it was a very good show.)
