Huge shout-out to Ian Reddington, as easily the creepiest villain performance seen since Sharaz Jek.  It's particularly good considering that both Jack Nicholson as the Joker and Tim Curry as Pennywise were at least a year or so in the future.

To my mind, the Ringmaster's rapping is pretty embarrassing, yes… but it's counterbalanced by the fact that the character is in fact a performer.  Contrast his behavior in the ring with his conversation with Morgana in part 2, and he gets a bit more depth and complexity.
