50 years for the viewing audience does not necessarily equal 50 years for the Doctor. Heck, there were supposedly 300 years between the Doctors who sent and received the invite in "The Impossible Astronaut".

I dare you to tell me that Bryan Cranston wouldn't make one hell of good a 12th Doctor.

No, my assumption definitely came from dialog from an early 1st season episode. But I don't think I've seen the episode since it was first broadcast, so I probably misheard as Automocar posited.

Wasn't Santiago a woman? ISTR some dialog from Ivanova during the election episode, along the lines of "I've always believed a leader should have a good chin. Santiago has no chin, and her running mate has too many."

"I dislike the existing multi-Doctor stories" is just a stone's throw away from "*Here's* how to do a multi-Doctor story correctly!"

A "ghost light" is a item in a theater, a single light that's meant to be left burning onstage even when the theater is shut down and not in use. Which makes using it as the title of the last classic DW episode to be produced until the TV movie somewhat fitting.

Hmmm… disagree. Just about all of her mental abilities can be chalked up to telepathy, not precognition. Being able to sense the thoughts of the approaching Reavers would enable her to know that an attack would be imminent.
