Everyone's favorite cyber/steam/whatever author Neal Stephenson did in fact use Hiro Protagonist as the main character in Snow Crash.

Will we be provided complimentary skinny jeans and horn rimmed glasses for this event?  Or a deluxe package that will include a lumberjack beard?

When "Little Boxes" ceases to be the opening themesong is a good spot.

I read Moore's "Courtyard" and "Neonomicon" last week while I was at home with the flu.   All the old god on blind girl sex plus NyQuil gave me the weirdest boner.

This is finally the episode that will end the series for me.   I got distracted by doing dishes halfway through and just didn't care to come back.  I think it was somewhere around the time when Magua from last of the Mohicans was hanging out speaking conversational English that I decided, officially 'meh dishes are

How can that be possible with the ordered hit on Tara?  Feds don't just turn blind eyes to murder for hire do they?

I feel like there are so many things wrong with this show that it borders on Ludicrous (Not to be confused with Common).  I keep waiting for it to step over the line and be great but there are just things I can't get past.
>Every time Meany starts an Al Swearengen rant I tune out.  You can't beat Al. Don't try it just

You know there was something about that scene that had been nagging me and I now realize -  that is exactly what it was.

So, was the setup then for Nucky to sell the 30 thousand  excess guns in the Amrory to the Irish?  That was what I took from his conversation with Owen Sleater.

Living in Portland, I can tell you that you can absolutely go from the city to the deep dark forest in about 30 seconds.  In fact when I finally found out this show was set in PDX it all made sense to me.   The bear family and the postman from ep 1 being in the middle of nowhere was very jarring when I thought this

Cinematography in HD alone is going to keep me for the season.   I couldn't quite buy Bohannon's pure badassery in the beginning of the show, and  at times toward the end (The scene in the tent with the discussion of race) I absolutely rolled my eyes.  But I give the director credit, he knows his sweeping vistas.

I was just happy to see a weird random shoutout to Portland's own Voodoo Doughnuts since my best friend is a baker at their original SW Portland location.

Just wanted to add…

I just want to say, I probably would have hated The Crystal Skull, but I took my 62 year old dad to see it, and for him it recaptured us going to the movies to see the originals when I was little.  I loved watching him just have fun.   Reminded me that movies don't always need to be superserious canon steady fanboy

I'm hoping for Portland.   You can spend your days stealing bikes and running over horn rimmed manic pixie hipster chicks.

Random observation from last night.   At the beginning of the ep, when Jimmy gets up to deliver his speech, before he begins to talk , he does a little head jut forward with his eyes downcast.   It's very similar to some of Harrow's mannerisms.  I have been trying to figure out if that is an intentional thing or not,

I stayed up until near the bitter end.  There were a few months where basically everything went screwy with a whole lot of weird superpowers-  it started to come back to center after a bit, but yeah when the LET was on, they were amazing.  I was always a Merv so believe me, I know about being zerged.
