Cinematography in HD alone is going to keep me for the season.   I couldn't quite buy Bohannon's pure badassery in the beginning of the show, and  at times toward the end (The scene in the tent with the discussion of race) I absolutely rolled my eyes.  But I give the director credit, he knows his sweeping vistas.

I was just happy to see a weird random shoutout to Portland's own Voodoo Doughnuts since my best friend is a baker at their original SW Portland location.

I just want to say, I probably would have hated The Crystal Skull, but I took my 62 year old dad to see it, and for him it recaptured us going to the movies to see the originals when I was little.  I loved watching him just have fun.   Reminded me that movies don't always need to be superserious canon steady fanboy…

I stayed up until near the bitter end.  There were a few months where basically everything went screwy with a whole lot of weird superpowers-  it started to come back to center after a bit, but yeah when the LET was on, they were amazing.  I was always a Merv so believe me, I know about being zerged.
