Haha exactly! He obviously has someone working in the federal courts in Chicago or in some federal agency for him.

I think Red's may have been drug-related especially since she's so anti-drugs in her goods operation in the prison and how easily swayed Neptune's Produce was to sneak in Pornstache's oxy.

I wrote a post about this earlier. It seems to go like this (based on observation from the show):

I really like this interpretation, but I'm pretty sure there's a podcast interview with Dan Harmon, who says that (this was before the finale aired) Jeff is going to feel a genuine connection of "love" for someone and whether it was familial love or romantic love was up to everyone's interpretation. So Jeff "loves,"

This messes up the entire theme of the play. Why would I want to see this (besides Meryl Streep being in it) when I can watch the taped stage-version on Amazon Prime or Netflix(I think it might still be on Netflix)?

She better not show up as Larry's Aunt! Larry's Storyline has been pretty boring lately…I'm hoping next season he's going to get his act together and write an expose about what's going on in the prison opposed to just wandering around NYC all day and banging Polly.

Piper's new lawyer is a good guess, but I feel like this show somehow is going to have to address that people of certain statuses get special treatment in prison…I mean, wasn't Martha Stewart eating freaking lobster when she was in the federal prison in Virginia?

Well, there's no way in hell Caputo is going to get Fig's job after what went down in the finale. So, I'm guessing Caputo will go back to being head of the guards and she will get Assistant Warden.

I'm guessing either Fig's replacement or a "Martha Stewart-type" character.

Yeah. I think OITNB showed how difficult it is for the corrections officers and the toll their jobs take on their personal lives much better than last season.

I doubt that they're going to waste all the potential drama on love triangles. I think they will still have love triangles next season (Alex/Nikki/Piper, Piper/Larry/Polly), but have the drug drama drive where the love triangles go.

Yeah! I love how developed even the third tier characters are! Like that moment with Bell asking the career day woman what to wear to an interview, which shows how much she hates her job (or doesn't make as much money as she would like as shown with her asking Bennett about what house she should buy).

I agree. Also, Natasha Lyonne's face looking at the heroin in the air vent made that shot more powerful.

I want to see a flashback of Soso living in a tree.

The Fig storyline was unfortunately more realistic than her actually getting caught.

The cliffhanger is the heroin.

Exactly! I think they use the "make TV more like books," idea very effectively as a show like OITNB doesn't feel episodic, but that it's definitely leading up to something larger (like with Larry and Polly feeling guilty about what they did, which leads Alex being sent back to prison) Everything has a purpose.

It's like how Taystee said that she "was just being an asshole" to Poussay in the library.

I think it was about her not taking responsibility or caring what happens to other people — something she kind of managed to overcome at the end of the season, but only after Vee went batshit crazy on her.

Favorite this season was Miss Rosa.
