I still think she's hilarious though.

Anyone else love the job interviews?
That was my favorite runner for the entire season. This is why I love the Netflix binge-watch model, where a storyline like this may have not been as effective if spread out over the course of a couple of weeks.
If the show ends up going in the direction I think it will, Taystee's relationship with Vee and her selling heroin on the streets to survive will be juxtaposed with Piper carrying that suitcase of money, going on epic vacations with Alex, and with Piper's relationship with Alex. Both Taystee and Piper are in prison…
Anyone else think that heroin in the laundry room is going to play a role with Alex returning to the prison and wanting to deal again/appease the king pin she used to work for?
I feel like you have to be a certain kind of sketch actor to succeed on SNL. For example, Sarah Silverman gets fired from SNL, but has still had a great stand-up career and starred in her own series that fit her voice better. Tina Fey, on the other hand, arguably did well on SNL and didn't even become that well known…
"I'm sorry. I was raised on TV, I think every black woman over the age of fifty is a cosmic mentor with free advice."
Exactly….The Sound and The Fury also doesn't really translate well to a 120 minute film. It could possibly work as a miniseries, but no network would ever do it because it would be too risky.
This list just makes me dread James Franco's upcoming portrayal of Benjy in his adaptation of The Sound and The Fury even more.
I would disagree…Some people point out the Beetlejuice reference as a crap joke. It wasn't a joke so much as it was an easter egg. Megan Ganz happened to notice that they had said Beetlejuice twice and that they were about to say it again in that episode.
I agree about Bubblegum (I added an edit to my previous post). And yeah, there is the possibility that the crown/Book of Enchiridion is from the future or even space/from aliens.
Well, yeah, everything is fantastical, but the crown isn't exactly science or has been confirmed as science because it was discovered even before the Mushroom War. Simon/Ice King found it on an archeological dig. Simon is also shown holding the Book of Enchiridion in pictures which was also found before the war on a…
Oh it's definitely a kids' show. I mean, Cartoon Network is really a kids' show network. I'm not their demographic, but it's really enjoyable despite some of the jokes that fall flat for someone my age, but would make a ten-year old laugh.
Magic.
Season 4 doesn't really "count." I guess, when you consider the Harmon years, it's not really that gratuitous.
You don't really need to watch Adventure Time in order…or all the episodes. There are some important ones that are necessary to understand what's going on, but some in the first season and the beginning of season two are standard kids show stuff. Episodes like, "What Was Missing," "Too Young," "The Vault," "Simon and…
It takes some effort to get into Mad Men. I originally didn't get it, but the guy I was dating at the time was obsessed with it, so I tried to catch up with him…we broke up before I caught up to the season he was on, but I was hooked on the show after five or six episodes. I think it picks up in season 3 when you know…
You just listed all the shows in my DVR.
I like to hate-watch Studio 60.
I think the references are important…mostly because the references are done differently than the ones in a show like Family Guy.
