I liked that they always seemed to be actually eating on Seinfeld.

What I've always found so interesting about Carla was the fact that they showed her drinking beer when pregnant. I also agree they never slut shamed Carla for her active sex life — the other characters seemed to support it. In fact, the only time she seemed embarressed about who she had slept with was that episode

The Diane doppleganger was the episode where Carla had to work at the crappy chain restaurant because they paid her more, right?

Okay, maybe besides Gary Cole.

Oh my God, I loved that meta joke when I saw that episode. I think what was so great about Cheers was the fact that even six years after Shelley Long left, they were still making Diane cracks/jokes at the bar and referencing stuff like that.

The latest person who was caught and claims to be a serial killer was a woman. I think she lured people to her with Craigslist.

If you reversed that premise, no one would watch that show — I think that's what infuriates me the most about that premise.

That would be a subversion of the trope, so technically it's not the same as using the trope because, "it would be hilarious to show this character as a talk Show/radio host."

Yeah, but that was before the trope became old and tired.

I agree! The idea of putting the Brady Bunch into the 90's with their weird values was genius… I feel like people are taking my joke too close to heart. The point is, is that Shelley Long could have just stayed on a sitcom for 12 years and arguably had a great TV career, but she didn't. She hasn't done a decent

Yeah on Sitcoms, it's apparently very easy to become a talk-show host. They're practically handing out those positions in sitcomland.

I think NBC needs a critical darling Drama at the moment though…So I think he will get to season 4 and if he manages to get the rights to Clarice Starling and Buffalo Bill, I could definitely see NBC giving him a fifth season just to see how that pans out/thinking it would bring in a lot more viewers.

Here's Fuller's plans for how he's going to organize the plot lines…I think he's carefully thought it out in advanced so I don't think it will be sloppy like the X-Files (which suffered from network meddling), but that still doesn't mean it wont be long and drawn out.

Definitely! The whole point of the show was to have her be the batshit insane one….

No, I agree about the New Girl issues….I mean, you have the underdevelopment/usage of Winston, the lack of well-developed female foil for Jess, there's characters switching apartments every week, Coach has been shoehorned into the show, Cc has no purpose or development, and it seems to prey on sitcom tropes, but

I feel like New Girl would benefit greatly if they just kept Nick and Jess together (without implying they may break-up at some point) in addition to dropping the "sexual politics of men and women," angle it seems to sometimes have. It should just be a show about quirky people who for some reason are friends. And

I agree, the show is great…now. Later is what I'm seriously worried about. You have the problem of, "How the Hell do I top the Jodi Foster/Anthony Hopkins dynamic?" and how to make the Buffalo Bill storyline fresh while not making it seem tedious by dragging it out for a season or two? — especially when people have

Well, Troop Beverly Hills is the bench-mark of the demise of Shelley Long's career — after that she was banished to the land of Brady Bunch movies and Hallmark-made-for TV stuff.

I feel like Hannibal is going to become a very problematic show/subject to harsh criticism if Bryan Fuller can get the character rights to Clarice Starling and Buffalo Bill (which would, if Fuller follows the timeline he said he has in mind, would be around season 4/5)— It's going to be almost impossible to live up to

You're right. Winston is also criminally under-used.
