I love that movie too! Unfortunately it's the last film Shelley Long did before her film career died into a land of Brady Bunch films and Hallmark movies —so it gets kind of a bad rap.

I feel like episodes executed this way are trying to pull off a Fawlty Towers plot, but unsuccessfully.
True that, it's almost like Shelley Long sacrificed her career for the sake of Cheers to go down as possibly the greatest sitcom ever made. (Okay, not really. She actually thought that her Troop Beverley Hills role would pan out into a film career).
Friends ruined "Will they? Wont they?" forever — or at least until some other show somehow manages to fix it.
So changing a photo to "Old West Style," would be out too?
Kramer has already done this very thing….
Arguably what's happening on New Girl with Nick and Jess?
This is the main reason Cheers managed to last 11 seasons. Shelley Long left before the eventual baby/marriage season that kills every show based around a will they?wont they? relationship.
Did you say "Howdy?" If you did, then you miss your next turn.
Abed and Annie doing that tornado spin and yelling "Howdy!" was hilarious!
That would be ah-mah-zing.
I feel like you're being combative for no apparent reason.
Okay, now you're the Penn station of this thread.
I dont think so. When I watch the show, it seems like Hannah is there because she thinks it's a thing writers/artists do (like I said, maybe this is Dunham's commentary on 20-somethings)
I feel like because her characters are all self-absorbed ass-hats, they don't appreciate the fact that they live in such an awesome city. They seem to want to live there because of the status and not because they actually like it there. (which is arguably a commentary on the millenial generation, but it would be nice…
I think Illana is 26 now, but when they started the webseries Illana was 22/23 and Abbie was 25.
I accidentally clicked on this instead of Broad City — but I'm glad I did otherwise I wouldn't know Casey Wilson had guest-starred.
"Holy Shit. This place really is majestic."
This episode had a Kickass title sequence.
"I don't get any e-mails"
"Well, is your e-mail still Illanawexler@vagina.com?"
"No, it's mindmyvagina.com. That's why."
