I too would be super mad if my Back to the Future DVDs got switched. (I have strong feelings about the greatness of the third and awfulness of the second.)

My favorite Amy moment this ep: when she stands up to Sheldon after he tells her she can't be friends with those who have betrayed him. Wanna take the bus to work?
Why were they calling attention to Jake's race? I know what the Beatles look like and don't care if Glee's version is more diverse.
The whole time that Blaine was talking to the glee club about his secret proposal plans, I kept waiting for Mr. Schue, who was obviously present and listening to the conversation, to say something teacher-like. I guess he's just happy to be there, with his inappropriately aged friends?
So, we're back to having both NeNe and Sue?
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was less than elated about the proposal scene. It was the absolute pinnacle of romanticism, like these characters have completely given up on living in anything resembling the real world, where love, while certainly nice, is not all one needs.
I couldn't stop thinking of "Yesterday" in that context. Well, that context, plus how much better this version was than Carrie Underwood's Emmy version.
I completely agree, and if all the students in the class were like Alex, that strategy could really work. To be safe, however, the teacher should have more of an inkling about the subject matter than Cam seemed to have.
And vice versa.
Good effort by Cam to use a strength (theatricality) to compensate for a weakness (lack of history knowledge), but sometimes AP History needs to be about AP History.
Axl has a gamer roommate. How will The Middle handle that? Will Frankie get caught up in the gaming world like she was caught up in social media for Sue? Will Brick discover such video games now? Will Axl stage an intervention to get his roommate off the computer and out of the way? Only time will tell.
I don't know why, but I was really happy for Sue. When she got the call after faxing the stained essay, I was expecting the worst, but thanks to teen pregnancy and divorce-induced depression, it turned out that the essay was just a formality. Yay, Sue! You'll make recording secretary in no time. :-)
What happened to Bill Hader's character on this show? Strike that; I don't care.
I quite liked the brief callback to the Varsity Blues bathing suit. Mindy mentions having a UTI from the whipped cream, and Beverly says, "You and me both, sister." :-)
The impression that the episode initially created of drunk Dr. Leotard was that he was super drunk. I was expecting him to be physically unable to have sex with Danny's ex due to how drunk he was.
I actually watched Birds of Prey.
@avclub-22cfdce02d35728058686d49fc89a63b:disqus has more info. There were jokes.
This episode was definitely Part 1 of a two-parter. If you're not even going to pretend that it's telling any sort of complete story by itself, Nickelodeon, you should air it back to back with the next episode. (I know, I know, you just had an hour-long premiere.)
@avclub-ac9276d79d4473b8075df15ea199f8f4:disqus In Disney understanding, Pocahontas is a Princess and the daughter of a Chief.
Remember how totally bizarre it was for the Earth King to have a bear and not some combination of bear and other animal? Good times. :-)
