I think I would have liked this episode more if I liked the Cybermen at all — I've never found them scary either, I've mainly found them annoying or dumb.  Which is a shame, because concept-wise, they should be terrifying.  Maybe they should get David Cronenberg to write a Cyberman ep, I dunno.

Man, here I thought you were using a metaphor to explain the way the character was used as being a pause between plot elements, but then I realized you'd just misspelled "coma".  Damn.

Mindless Philler?  InPhiltrations?  Phil-istinisms?

Agreed!  The only thing keeping me from watching Elementary "live" is Hannibal — I figure that show needs more eyeball support in its timeslot.  I just watch Elementary OnDemand later.

Doubt it was just their "union-designated breaktime" — as a medevac crew, those guys are used to rescueing injured people, not going up against armed, apparently nigh-indestructible, gun-toting badasses.  I mean, I was surprised that they didn't stand up, ready to go help, and then sit down as they realized they'd

Definitely borrow the PoI season 1 DVDs.  Worth watching, plus you'll have a mutual hostage situation, borrowing-wise.  ;)

IT'S A TRAP!

@avclub-f386ec0475db6270613db002e5168828:disqus Hey, I just found these two moist, spherical things on the floor — they're all dusty now, though.  You still want 'em?

If they bring it back next year, maybe they can get John Kricfalusi to be the showrunner.  I mean, no one would take a show away from that guy, right?

I hear it was a documentary, and it took place in real time.

I feel like Chevy might have been OK with showing up for that.

I'd rather watch a retooled version of The Smock.

I liked that the Dean didn't even glimpse evil Jeff in his undies (clearly they couldn't go full Terminator without some strategically placed books or floral arrangements).

I thought it was a fun silly episode.  Yeah, it left a bunch of threads dangling (the Chang/City College Dean one being the most egregious), but I didn't have high expectations.

Minor confession: AD&D was the first episode of Community I ever watched.  I read the description in the guide and thought "Welp, I gotta watch that."  Then I watched it and was like "I apparently need to catch up on this show."  So I did.

Agreed, though that is part of what I didn't like about this ep.  I guess I kinda wanted to see what the change-up might be if Jules was actually in on the capers.

That presumes that Smeagol — er, I mean "Boy" — actually tells anyone about Bran and Rickon.  It seems that no one outside of his group even knows that he has Theon.  And he basically told Theon that he intended to hunt them down ("I'm a better hunter than you"), and I certainly hope for their sakes that he does not

Aaand now I'm picturing Sansa getting married to Varys, and giggling at what I know his expression would be at the prospect.

I didn't think Sam seemed creepy, just eager and unrealistic.
