Yeah, you'd think she'd be able to hide them somewhere in those Victorian clothes.

I would have at least liked to see her kick the asses of that whole group. What, they couldn't afford a second set of extras to come round the corner and menace them so they'd still have a reason to run?
Great, now I just pictured the entire cast in catsuits. Funniest: Strax.
I'm very glad that this show doesn't resort to making Watson a bumbling fool just to make Sherlock seem smarter. The writing, and Lucy Liu's performance, makes it clear that Watson is very smart, though still a step or two behind Sherlock.
Harold distances himself emotionally from everyone, so it doesn't surprise me that he would do the same with his creation "The Machine." Not that that justifies what he's done to it. Forcing it to erase itself every night — I'm simultaneously reminded of GERTY from Moon and the starwhale from Doctor Who's The Beast…
I very much liked Shaw going all John McClane with the duct-tape. "This is the plan."
Comedy logic, plus they'd have to rename the show.
That got a laugh out of me too — and that's kind of perfect, to be able to know exactly where your neighborhood FBI agent is going to be on vacation. Had they gone.
I also enjoyed how take-charge Arkady was — we've only ever seen him behind a desk or walking around the embassy before this ep, I think. Light a fire under him, and he'll actually DO something, yay!
That was chilling and awesome, and we don't even know what the fallout from that will be yet.
The Clark Wig Symbiote (CWS, model 5000) adapts to multiple environmental triggers, is resistant to friction, and anticipates the wearer's needs. It will release with ease under designated circumstances or dig into the scalp when tugged to produce a realistic display, including bleeding, if necessary.
And that's not just lip service.
Part of it is that she's using her real feelings to project what Stan expects — she'd gotten used to the idea of defecting and had been scared of getting caught. She keyed into those feelings despite turning triple-agent because they weren't that long ago. Also, she's now afraid of being found out by Stan, so it was…
He was a great character in Boogie Nights.
Something about the way Sansa spoke with him in that scene made me think that maybe Margaery has been coaching her. She demurs very politely and says she trusts Baelish — who doesn't seem to buy it, but acts like he does. Just that long breath she lets out after they speak. Sansa's still not a great liar, but she's…
@avclub-fd49932f918497f20b2931ddc110bcbe:disqus Except that was the wildfire they'd been making and storing up, not the wildfire that the Mad King had hidden elsewhere. Maybe someone went around digging up those stashes, but based on what Jaime said, they were separate from the main supply.
@avclub-1343022fc4003e2cf16f0368302d86e8:disqus Arya might suspect that Gendry is Robert Baratheon's bastard, but she's done nothing to telegraph that. She's pretty good at keeping secrets, but that seems like a card she might play if she was trying to convince him to stay with her.
Yep, it's a very savvy counter-move by Tywin. I would love to see a conversation between him and Oleanna about it.
They're all awful, basically. It's just fun to watch them be awful to each other.
Good point about the name parallel. Their reasons for wanting to keep a new name or regain an old one have much to do with ascending in power versus descending — it's an interesting point-counterpoint yin/yang balance between two characters in completely different parts of the world. Perhaps some foreshadowing with…
